Modern Literal Version 

The Modern Literal Version was done by the churches of Christ. Though, technically, suggestions could have been done by others, it is my understanding that the folks in charge of accepting or denying these suggestions were all in that denomination/non-denomination.

I have this version, and I believe it is certainly not perfect, but I think you are too quick to criticize the approach to John 1:1. The first phrase was presented that way because "ho logos" is the subject, hence "the Word was in the beginning." Notice a few words later the same thing happens. "Ho logos" is the subject in the phrase "the Word was God," even though the literal word order is "and God the Word was." They are simply trying to apply a more consistent approach to translating to English sentence structures from Greek structures, since we are used to having the subject up front. I think a good translation would be "_In the beginning_, the Word was; and the Word was with God; and _God_, the word was." This must be read, however the way Yoda from Star Wars would have inflected the words to get the proper subject called out for each phrase The reason for placing "in the beginning" first in the Greek is to emphasize that point and to parallel Gen 1:1 from the Septuagint. I do appreciate these quick reviews, and wish there were more of them. Thank you for doing these.

Very useful translation. I do have a few minor criticisms though.

In this video, the statement is made that the KJV is based on the Critical Text. That is not true. The KJV is based on the Received Text.

here is just a thought you can say what bibels are good and not so but it dosent matter wich bible you use if you still teach false doctrine dose it
