The GT500 is by far one of the most awesome cars ever. You have to see it in person to understand. Sounds the best, drives the best. The features and options are amazing. God bless America for this car.

Can’t people read? It’s a “ROAD TRIP” if you wanted to watch these cars race and go crazy then go to another video. This was honestly a nice peaceful video where they got a chance to cruise around and talk about these beasts.

The Challenger is still a Muscle car but the Camaro and Mustang are sports cars nowadays in my book.

If you're trying to emulate the old Top Gear or the new Grand Tour, you are in the ball park but that was at least 15 minutes toooo much yap. Refine and minimize the banter and you'll be getting closer.

I love the design of the Ford Mustang GT 500 and the Dodge Challenger hellcat but I don't like the fender flares on the Dodge Challenger.The Camaro is amazing on the road course.

Ford and GM worked together to make the 10 speed transmission. They nailed it. Whish they would come together to make a complete Special Edition car. Could you imagine?

Honestly with hybrid systems and camless technology the V8 Muscle can go from getting 25-30mpg to 500+HP in a button press. We just have to invest in the tech.

Just hold in the the 2 paddles in the GT500 and it drops to optimal gear. And if you don’t get the Recaro seats you can get heated and cooled seats for cheaper.

As a former owner of a Scat Pack Charger and Mustang GT, I can say without any question, the Dodge is just special. Nothing like them. No disrepect to the Camaro or Mustang.

You should have used the ZL1 10 speed transmission for a more accurate comparison.

It’s all about what you love to drive. I got a 17 Mustang GT Premium but I like Camaros and Challengers/Chargers as well. Ultimately, I don’t recommend none of them for long road trips. I usually drive my Camry for those.

Of the three cars, the only driver grinning from ear to ear while driving their car was the Challenger Hellcat Redeye. I’d say it’s the best of the three cars.

Challenger is the only muscle car now. Mustang and Camaro look like sport cars now. Sure the challenger is slower but it’s design is better

For a long drive I’d have to go with the Charger/Challenger. From experience yes the ZL1 has magna ride but it’s still noticeably stiffer than those. Gt500 is about in between

Video summary: we drove these cars for 1500 miles and then lectured everyone on climate control.

I must say that I lean towards the challenger as the best looking car of the bunch. And I own a 2020 GT500. All 3 cars are iconic in their own rights. The reviews seem to be pretty biased towards the Shelby for sure.

All I see is 2 sports cars and ONE muscle car.

Challenger has always been the best road trip car of the modern era.

THE GT500 is a crossplane crank, while the gt350 engine is a flatplane crank, the gt350 is able to rev really high while the gt500 engine isnt able to. They are same amount of liters in both engines but arent the same engine.

Ok, so they're not economy cars. What was their actual mpg? I'm just curious. As for electrics, battery tech is going to have to get a lot better than what it is now, and the charging infrastructure is nowhere what it needs to be yet. Of course, they're working on that. I have to wonder if they've considered what the cost of electricity is going to do when everyone if driving fully electric vehicles? And is the coast of electricity going to be uniform throughout, or are they going to separate what we pay at the "pump," so to speak, and what we pay to light and cool our homes? I'm thinking they're also going to have to do a lot more than simply install charging stations. The entire electrical grid is going to have to be significantly updated too. That grid is working very near it's limits in some places just trying to run everyone's air conditioning. It's not going to handle everyone fast charging their cars overnight too.

The average wind up car uses over 300 pounds of rare earth metals in the battery alone including nickel, cobalt, manganese, and copper. Do you think they creat that stuff in a lab? No, they rip the earth open and tear it out of the dirt using thousands of gallons of ground water contaminating toxic chemicals. And, as ore bodies are becoming depleted, they are digging further and deeper to get those minerals and most of them are located in not so nice places. Do you want to talk about conflict minerals? I’m guessing not because it would destroy your baseless narrative. Now let’s talk about all the coal fired power plants that generate the electricity those coin-op cars run on or how we plan to dispose of all those batteries when they won’t hold a charge after 12 or 14 years.... Any responsible adult should effort to leave the world a little greener than the way they found it, but the bizarre convert-or-die religion of the left isn’t going to get us there. Always have to jab in the climate change garbage. These specific cars and motors probably account for less than 5% of overall motor vehicles on the roads in the United States. To say that they have even a slight overall impact on the climate is a heavy overstatement. Not to mention that the science behind this idea that carbon emissions are somehow completely altering the world’s climate is dubious at best. But everyone is completely willing to ignore the more logical reasoning that the earth has gone through warming and cooling periods for millions of years, and that we just so happen to be on the edge of a warming period. But I get it, that doesn’t sell in today’s world. People want to see activism because it gives them some semblance of meaning in their lives. I’m all for innovation and making things more renewable, to conserve resources, but don’t feed me the garbage that we have to kill off V8’s because “they’re melting the atmosphere”. Give me a break.

Why does the corvette keep getting left out

1. For sure these cars take up a lot of gas. But can we also talk about the fact that most people who have one of these doesn’t drive them everyday? I have an SS and don’t drive it daily. 2. There are way more pick-ups, semis, SUVs, etc that are driven a ton more than these. So the impact muscle cars, sports cars, super cars, whatever you want to call them, are such a small fraction of the contributing C02 emissions that they shouldn’t be considered, speaking from a practical point of view. You really want to help then focus on making work vehicles, semis, etc fuel efficient. Not the thing that’s barely used. 3. Did you know that the 15 biggest ships in the world produce more pollution than all the cars in the world combined? So if we just make those 15 vehicles electric (incredibly difficult, I know) we would cut the pollution by 50%. Doesn’t it make more sense to focus on things like this and frequently used things. 4. Maybe some people will like an electric “muscle” car. I won’t. Most people won’t. It’s not all about power or performance. It’s about the experience. And a big part of that experience is the sound and feel of an engine, banging through gears, feeling the power train, hearing the cold start. If it was all about performance and the numbers there would be a lot more Tesla’s and a lot less sports cars. But that’s not what happened is it? I’m all for making the world a better place. But let’s do that correctly. Not in efficiently and pointlessly. And I know the presenters are paid to say that and that the producers or whatever want to look good and mean no harm yada yada. But it’s up to US, the public (the majority), to be correctly informed and hold those in positions of power accountable.
