TBH I think the UK wanted to help Poland, but their army was about 1/4 the size of Poland's at the time They couldn't do anything on land without France, and France's only plan was to sit in forts until the war came to them. :P Basically, if you want the UK to protect you from anything, it helps to be an Island.

All the time the german/austrian/swiss/any german speaking country poland ball is in a comic ,I get the hardest of headaches ,not because of Drew's pronounciants ,but the fact that I have this mental switch so to say ,where I can switch mid sentence to another language(though not that well since different grammar and all of that) ,and the fact that am reading both english and german words keeps turning that switch

Hey check out Chinampas of Mexico city. Andrew Millison did a great piece on it. It's a super effective way to farm using raised land to grow crops, never needing to water or fertilize. Mexico city is a great place to live to get a lot of both farm produce and hunting, but not to build heavy structures on top of.

I don't know why but when watching this I got an idea of a Countryball Comic that's basically the death, or collapse, of the US where Texas says, "I no longer want into independent."
