I remember restoring an old house many years ago, when I was still young. We started this restoration when our daughter was one week old, she'll soon be 41. It was quite a job, but this one's harder. I admire how you work together yet stay positive when things go wrong, as they always do. I also can appreciate having a baby while in the midst of this and now number two is coming! I've really enjoyed watching the videos and hate to see them end. You've done a good...no, fantastic job. You've not only made yourselves a home, you've made priceless memories that will last a lifetime.

When you look from your room down the hall - all the clean and crisp lines, the height and all the symmetrical windows just looks so bloody awesome! But he could also start building a garage/man gave out of containers for his next project.. he deserves it.

My OCD is appeased, every screw on the wall and switchplates were on the exact horizontal plane! Such attention to details. You should really call a pickle exterminator. I 'd come but I only do bread&butter pic kles dill makes my throat itch! Wow man those fireworks were better than my towns!

I HAD a wonderful man like Spencer. The Lord took him home two years ago this month. God bless you both. You show what a normal family can be like in this crazy mixed up world.

I know what you mean about having outlet covers on and all the wiring installed. 22 years ago I bought my grandparents' house from the estate. Now as a single mom, 5 years ago my younger brother and converted the master bedroom into a huge bathroom (I have 4 daughters), the main 5x8 bathroom into a pantry and the 2nd bedroom on the main level into a dining room. It's very difficult to do these projects while living in the home with 6 kids! The outlets in the dining room are still not done! Y'all are inspirational! Although my brother is a license electrician and owns his own construction business - I think I might just tackle the wiring and get these things done myself. Otherwise, I might be waiting another 5 years! P.S. I have binge watched nearly every episode! I have learned a lot and I agree with everyone else - keep em coming because y'all are GREAT!!! Since you are on a rain water collection system, I want to share a trick my wife's cousin did in Georgia. He ran the A/C condensation drain into a barrel for watering his garden. You might be able to pump your drain water up to your system's inlet. It's pure, fresh water, not runoff.
