I filmed these back in 2022 when they had a KONE PowerDisc mod. I come back two years later to find these modernized AGAIN by PW. PW is one of the worst elevator companies in Sweden. Their elevators are prone to break down. Let’s hope these don’t get stuck a lot. PW replaced the motors with some cheap Gearless motor that probably closely resembles the PowerDisc GMX1 motor and they upgraded the controllers with new VF Drives. They also replaced the KONE KSS-470 buttons with VEGA buttons. VEGA is an Italian elevator company that supplies fixtures for third party elevator companies. These elevators now run terribly and sound absolutely horrendous. They also placed these on a multi-bay controller instead of the separate controllers which is very stupid since the KONE PowerDisc mod was meant to be on separate controllers so that people with disabilities or freight can use the big one. Now it’s a pain to get the big one.
