I love Modest Mouse's "Float On". I've wanted to do this video for like 5 years but I've only just now got the chance to work on it.

I love how the opening April Fools joke segwayed into another episode of "I Love This Song". "Float On" is wonderful. Great episode.

What you had just said about positivity without empathy is the exact reason as to why people HATE Christian/Gospel music. It's all positivity that feels more oppressive than encouraging. It's less "even on a cloudy day, I'll keep my eyes fixed on the sun", more "you have no right to be depressed".

I love me some Modest Mouse. Every single album is near brilliant. I always thought Shiny Happy People was trying to be ironic or definitely not one that was meant to make you happy.
