Another tip with alignment is before you remove the module, you can take your sharpie and mark the buttons and the module for perfect alignment and easy replacement
Great video, would the filter make any difference to the solar at all? I presumed the 2 dots in the case are contacts to send the solar to module/battery.
Thanks for the kind words. As far as i know, the added filter doesnt affect the solar. The solar cells are located further outward along the bezel i believe, which is not being covered by the filter. Great question to ask though, and Ill be sure to mention it in future solar watch mods. Thanks
The brown thing inside you used to measure the filter is the back of the solar panel. So it is indeed not affected by your filter mod. And the 2 dots at the bottom are the contacts between the solar panel and watch module. Another nice mod. Good job and video.

@@alister_35 the best visibility is to leave the postive display as is. Adding a colored filter will never make it easier to read, but some colors are still very easy to read when added: like yellow and orange
