Handsome little man you got there Big B. Cool idea adding a little shock absorption, kinda like a real car motor mount. Imagine an oval race course with numerous jumps for these jet boats. BGFL

I wish these boats were built stronger. Super fun to bash in rivers like the real thing but unfortunately they are built no tougher than a Revel model. Lol Every little piece is glued on. Even the damn roll cage is glued together! I made completely flexible links for my trim tabs and they still broke off the hull. Total junk design. Proboat might know boats but they sure as hell dont know bashers. They need to intern at Arrma for a few months.

I watched a video of a guy who completely replaced them and he could pick the boat up by the trim tabs. Which got me thinking and I kept the stock trim tabs but add to them in a way. It's hard to explain. But now my stock turnbuckle is there but not for strength. I'm going to post a video on what I did and it was under $50 I made mine solid because I don't want them to move. These are touchy boats for trimming to keep flat on the water

I would think these tabs and their mounting point should be removable. Do you need a new hull if these break off and you can't get them glued...??? (Or maybe cut them off and take aluminium...?)

I think the trim tabs are fine, this boats top speed is 25 - 30mph tops, for Bashing. I think they made a good choice with the break away tab design. Probably keep the stock tabs

Yup, they definitely aren't made for jumping or bashing... False advertising really. The plastic is very weak, mine is trashed after only a couple sessions in smooth rock rapids... Regret buying it now, not worth $600..
