Great build, almost ready for the “bathtub test” 😊 Really like how you solder the flex shaft where it goes into the collet on the motor shaft, for solder joints that are subjected to high heat, like on the esc connectors 95/5 solder has a much higher melting point than the more traditional solders have. 👍🏻
Time to start charging batteries 👍👍👍 This is going to be sweet !!! I’m looking forward to the test and tune sessions, and yes I seam to learn something new with every video. The short flex cables for the through hull alignment-great idea. BGFL
Great video and boat. One suggestion however is to epoxy in only the motor brackets (with the motors attached for alignment). That way you can remove a motor conventionally by just undoing the bracket to motor screws. Might be better cooling for the motors that way also so air can get to the entire circumference. Just a thought.
Clean and powerful looking build, sir 🦾 I'm learning a lot along the way and it's interesting to know about how the prop direction affects handling. It's a lot like running toe in vs toe out with the cars👍
Freakin did it again. Awesome video. Don't ever apologize for a long video. If they don't like it they don't belong in the boat gang. Next, i like my cable tube to go commando also. I'm waiting to see how the rudder reacts to those props. I think they should be outward rotating but it will be interesting to see what happens...a cliffhanger 😮. Thanks big b... bg4l
Got to post again, I just saw the craziest video, “water sports cars” Jet boats that look like super cars 🤣, don’t hate me Big B but if anyone can do an rc version it’s you 👍👍👍
Big up from Belgium BIG B J'ADORE REGARDER TES VIDÉOS DEPUIS QUE JE TE SUIT J'EN AI APPRIS DES CHOSES ET J'AI AVANCÉ DANS MES BATEAU J'AI FAIT AUSSI UN PETIT AMG DOUBLE MOTEUR JE N'AI PAS TOUT FINI MAIS JE TE MONTRE UN PEU A QUOI IL RESSEMBLE ET PS SI TU VEUX PRENDRE DES VACANCES JE T'INVITE EN BELGIQUE ! !!!
Awesome work as usual. Question though, when you cut the shaft, what did you use to cut? It? Was it the same cutting wheel that you used for making the flat spot on the drive dog area of the stubshaft
