@@ExtraordinaireThe no kidding, no more rubber bands that wear out every couple months. I bought the one showed in this video as well as the angled version.
Hey I hope you make a video about your role in operation overlord, such as just explaining if it was fun or what was difficult about it and stuff like that. I enjoyed seeing your acting. It was pretty good and the mini movie was pretty solid. I enjoyed it and it was amazing!! Great work and keep it up!!!
Hey dude! I have the exact same light setup, but I have an issue with mine, in that the brightness of my light is dependent on how hard I press the button. I have to really mash it down to get the light to full brightness, and it works best if I press along the edges of the switch rather than the middle. Mines also not really "clicky." Was wondering if you or anyone else has this issue and knows what to do about it?
So fun fact if you had the Surefire DS tail cap that actually allows the switch to have a proper on switch rather than momentarily. I just ordered my switch and DS cap.
Hey, hopefully you're still reading the comments lol, but how much is 5 inch pounds??? That's the recommended torque that's specified in the installation instructions, but I have NO idea how much that is. I tried to set up mine so that the screws come out the same amount that I see on your video, how's yours holding up with that amount?
I have a modbutton with a surefire scout. Thing is a POS, causes the light to flicker and dim the output. Customer service blames it on the tail cap. I know it's not the tail cap because it does the same thing on my buddies light with a different cap that works just fine with his pressure pad. They will not be receiving any more of my money.
Did you have issues getting to the 5in/lb torque value? My bolt just kept spinning. Waiting on another bolt from modlite. Great customer service as they forgot to pack 2 in the plastic sleeve.
2:18 sorry if it's a dumb question, but can you explain that o-ring thing for cable management? Does it come with the Arisaka? And how do you mount it?
Not included. It's just a small o-ring to aid in managing the cable for a cleaner look. You could use a rubber band to achieve similar results. Just slide it over the tailcap to keep the cable pressed against the light body.
I just watched the overlord short film and I was amazed with the tactics, the sound, the awesome looking gear and just about everything involved in it. Just after I watched scp overlord I discovered your channel and I'm now addicted. Your now by far my fav youtuber. Also I have a question, which one of the operators are you in scp overlord?(what is your gas mask?) I hope you Have a great day and keep up the awesome work.
I recognize that $200 KAC Front sight. I matched mine with a Geissele rear FDE. My Mk18 has a rear KAC tower (mini) and it is the best buis I’ve ever used.
@@ExtraordinaireThe okay cool jw. Saw on trex arms website that some of the accessories for Modlite are surefire. Would you say modlite is better than surefire?
@@raftika1 I like Modlite better than Surefire switch. It is well made, a lot shorter and attaches securely to the rail. Surefire, without the Cloud Defensive mount, is all over the place. Modlite is half the price and doesn’t need a mount.
You could use a ranger band also. They are on ebay the large works with the Geissele rails. But thats prob a 1/2" or so o ring but thats just a guess. Ranger bands are a extremely versatile item tho. Almost like duct tape versatile.
