They are great cars I miss mine still to this day. If we did not move out of the country I would have just kept it.

Sorry I don't know. This build was 22 builds ago and one of my favorites but back then we did not keep as good of records. Since that was done over 20 years ago I think the throttle body was from the amg model which would have been c55 but not 100 percent sure.

I never had it tested. Butt Dino was always good enough. This was an imported vehicle did not meet use emissions at first. But doing this custom order got me more power then the factory usa cars.With this set up I could beat my 2015 Subaru with Cobb tune and down pipe with full intake and exhaust. Out of all the cars I have every had I miss this one the most. When we moved over seas to spend some time with family London I sold it for so cheap.

If I wore to do it again id buy an asp pulley. If you buy it direct from them they can make custom sizes as well.

However (in response to the orignal commenter) you have to check if your car is the 2.3 or 1.8 (you could easily tell difference one has a red top the other is black) The 1.8 are not worth modifying the gains are not worth the money in my opinion

I went to campolindo high school with this guy that used to build custom motors so in 2006 when I had the car paid off I sent it to him in Santa Cruz and he did the camshaft and the balancing and blue printing of the motor. Worked out well his brother does the tuning on software and he had help from a German tunning company. I don't remember the lift as this was all 100 percent done by 2006 after that the car just ran perfect till in 2015 I sold it as we wore moving. Most custom hot rod or custom Mercedes builders can do this work, Renntec might even have parts on the shelf. back in 2001 they did a big build on same car.
