INFO ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
This was basically just a 'Best Of' type of deal, with 5 of the stages taken from various previous TaroNuke and WinDEU tournaments and the final round and credits were brand new simfiles made just for this! The difficulty spike between Stage 1 and Stage 2 was a bit drastic, but I've learnt to even it out a bit in the next one.. Mega thanks to Taro for helping me compile and fix a bunch of stuff, and also creating the last two files of course. ❤
Sorry for the weird lighting and recording issues, I used my iPad but didn't really account for how bright it would be in the venue :1 Ah well, the quality is nice doe. Next time I'll just use my phone.
I purposefully chose files both old and new to mix up the collection a bit, so while it was guaranteed the more regular entrants would know some it would be practically impossible for them to remember all of them. They were also updated to work better with our current format for mod making so they almost definitely won't break any more! Huzzah!
Being the first tournament I ran this was really fun to organise, and seeing people's reactions are basically the reason why these continue :v I can definitely see how Taro keeps up with this mental torture LMAO
When will be the next one? Who knows! Definitely next year, and there definitely will be more content /cutscenes, an actual story line, etc../, but for now, me and Taro are working on some really awesome things for the rest of the year, so stay tuned :3
