Good to have you back Greg! Cool subject and well produced video. Both the audio and video is great.. Does your MIDI controller have buttons that send MIDI Program Changes, and have you found a module to make use of that?
I don't think the Impact does program changes. It also doesn't do keyboard split or after touch. It's great for interfacing to a DAW, but it's a bit limited as a keyboard controller.
Oh, and as far as the sound, Oh My Gosh, it was a challenge. There are 3 different video files: The camera file with the audio muted, the video of VCV Rack with it's stereo audio tracks from the desktop, and a separate video with the voice-over. Syncing the video and audio of all 3 files was pretty interesting :-)
Hi. I've been using Midi_OX. It's a Midi mapper/ monitor/filter. I've got a fairly primitive M-Audio keyboard & have got keyboard splits, can map control keys & notes... at the same time. It's pretty simple to use & quite powerful for it, if you want to get dirty.
