4:16 Code is what brings these types of projects to life. If someone thinks code is boring then they’re probably creating boring projects. Code is where the exciting magic really happens and BlitzCityDIY is a wizard. 🧙♀️
Loving this build log series. Gives me some awesome insight into how other makers do their thing! Your approach seems to be very similar to my own - short bursts of focus distributed across many days!
This series is great. I'm currently building a module using a Neotrellis M4, sequencing drum sounds (like the example that was on it when I got it) and triggering gate outputs; despite having spent (yikes) 40 years programming I've only got a few weeks of Python experience so it's reassuring to see the way I've been attempting Circuitpython programming matches fairly closely to yours!
I like creative smart girls with neat computer/electronic projects. 👧 and the LED module is a nice touch to eliminate the series resistor mess. 😎 Merry Christmas and a great demo sound.
I found your content on PeerTube (because RU-vid is not good to find content like this). You remind me of Nicole Stott (retired astronaut on the ISS) whom I had the pleasure of meeting recently.
Btw… Figma is really awesome for making diagrams like you showed at the start of this video (and it’s free!) I use it for circuit diagrams. You just drag in images of the components and then use the vector pen tool to “connect the dots”.
thanks! i'll check that out. adafruit uses fritzing for circuit diagrams and we add all of our boards and components to the parts library for folks but with larger diagrams i struggle a bit to keep the wires neat so Noe rescued us 😅
