I like the MOE, I have the MOE carbine fixed stock, but I really wish they went with the A1 length instead of the A2, for the rifle version.

Hey again. I did buy the magpul stock for my ar-10. I have a question. When you installed your sling socket into the space close to the receiver, did it completely mount flush? I pounded the hell out of mine and could not get it mounted flush to the stock. Did you have this problem? If so how did you remedy this? Thanks in advance for any insights.

Will a standard USGI cleaning kit, with segmented cleaning rod, fit into the storage compartment of the MOE stock?

The door mechanism seems a little cheap, like it might open by accident or not close if used a lot.

No it will not be flush in the front,but it works fine.
