You guys giving this guy a hard time but I liked his presentation.

The leaking through the bottom of the Delta faucet should be a big negative score. Another disappointing feature of both of the faucets you reviewed is the deceptively camouflaged aluminum hollow mounting bolt/pipe. Both of these companies have coated the aluminum components to look like brass. The extremely aggressive galvanic action between aluminum and other metals should rule it out for kitchen faucet applications. My Moen faucet I just removed used the long hollow threaded tube/pipe you showed with an aluminum bolt painted black which by itself might work, but the Moen engineers used a mild steel under sink stiffing bracket and a mild steel mounting bracket, with no attempt whatsoever to isolate the dissimilar incompatible metals. In my situation, after using considerable force I finally broke the connection free, but only because Moen had threaded the aluminum pipe to another aluminum nut inside the faucet- this allowed me to finally free the faucet. The aluminum mounting nut, aluminum mounting pipe, and the mild steel mounting bracket are permanently fused together from galvanic corrosion. I bought a Delta faucet to replace the Moen but to my surprise Delta also uses an aluminum mounting pipe but they attach it to the faucet interior in a way that it can't be unscrewed. It's going back to the store. At least Delta made a token attempt to isolate dissimilar metals by using a piece of plastic to hold the steel mounting bracket. Both of these companies should get big disqualifying scores for using aluminum mounting assemblies in their kitchen faucets.

The new Moen has the same install system as Delta so that is fixed and if the cartridge leaks on Moen it doesn't go under the sink is a huge difference. Thanks Aimco, I'm going with Moen

Excellent and informative review, thanks for making it, what really turned me off about Delta faucets are the pex supply lines that may have to be cut to install. I think giving Delta a 9 on supply lines you were being generous, overall vid 👍🏼

Excellent job. I just installed a Moen and you nailed it 100%. I've had both and both are good on warranty claims. I've had more of those with Delta.

The Moen installed in my kitchen 6 months ago is loose and falling apart. Home Depo has no idea of where to get the bottom cone ion tightening nut….. I need the plastic tightening tool can you advise where to purchase this? To date I am disappointed at Moen Lack of Quality.

I have all delta and they are leaking so I came to this video, now I know why.

My faucet is loose ,not leaking,is not attached properly to the sink and I went under and there are nothing to tight.

You didn't mention that Delta has a lifetime warranty. I have a problem with my Delta unit as it's locked up, and they sent me a new one today for no charge. Happy!

Last week my plumber told me not to buy Moen kitchen faucets. He said the quality is poor. I had to replace Moen bath faucet after ten months. I couldn't remove the handle to replace cartridge to stop it from dripping.

I have a Delta kitchen faucet and the temperature control is poor. I have Moen bathroom faucets and the temperature control is better. It would be great to know if Moen kitchen faucets have better temperature control also.

What Models were you using??

So I did my own test on these two. I hit them both with a sledge hammer. I give Delta 2 and Moen 1. Then I shot them both with an AR15. Moen 1, Delta 9 (I missed). Then I put them both on my Traeger for 4 hours. Delta 1, Moen 0. Based on these tests, I can't recommend either.

I was hoping he would comment on how reliable the bushing is that allows the faucet to move left to right. On my Moen there is a bit too much looseness there so the curved part of the faucet rocks slightly when you move it left to right. Doesn't look like there is anything to adjust or a part that could be replaced. The Delta appears to either have a more substantial bearing there, or it is just a decorative shape. Anyone have any thoughts?

My delta faucet leaking from bottom of sink through cold water line so what you think might be the problem?

Separate sprayer and from faucet, putting them together is a bad idea as tension and in/out motion will wear away all rubber hoses thus leak and ticking time bomb.

Where are you located where a kitchen sink has water pressure that is 1000 psi? Here in the United States federal regulations state the PSI should be at 60 and lower in a few states.

Testing home appliances at 1000psi is analogous to testing bulletproof vests with missiles.

The only thing I'd have to add to this is just telling people just HOW MUCH pressure 1,000 psi really is. if your sink is ever exposed to 1000psi I'd venture to say you probably have other problems that you're going to need to deal with, rather than worry about if your kitchen faucet is leaking.

I'm concerned about after 2yrs of use. Most these faucets junk out after a couple of years.

is Moen made in Germany?

Maybe if you hook the facet to a fire hydrant you would get a 1,000 psi water pressure...lol

1000 psi?? most home water supplies will not get anywhere near that?? maybe you should've done the test at 200/300 psi?? double or triple some home units.

*Almost every manufacturer has got it wrong in the design. The turn on/off knob should be on LEFT side. Because most right handed people may be holding a dirty pot or a scrubber in their RIGHT hand. In which case they wont need to put the pot or scrubber away to turn on/off the faucet. They should be able to easily use their LEFT hand.*

Go buy a football from the best brand in the world and fill air with your 1000 psi machine which you managed to arrange for a video and when it explodes you give a statement that the ball is of low quality eventhough it is made for 15 psi it could not with stand 1000 psi.

Well not that clear of a review .. The main reason I buy moen products is there service .. I had a kitchen pull out facet break, because if your no careful, it’s only made of plastic so it can break.. I had it for years , they sent me a whole new body .. for free ...Also all my facets , if the cartridge starts leaking , I go to the hardware store and they give me a new cartridge.. And because we are on a well with hard water , I have to change them every few years .. moen for me ..

Why do you use 1000 PSI to test when a kitchen only has 75. It’s not useful information.

I didn't find this helpful. Testing at 1000 psi is completely meaningless. It's like running over the faucets with a 747 and saying one wasn't quite as crushed as the other. 1000 is especially meaningless when there were no intermediate pressure tests. Also, differentiating between a 3.5 minute installation time and a 4.5 minute time..... not significant.

You are confusing. At first you said the one on the right was moen then later on you changed it to delta so i can't take your video seriously.
