Great video - absolutely loving Mogo. 1: yes it’s better on an Ebike 2: cause I don’t ride an Ebike I’ve gotten significantly fitter. 3: For those like me that do not ride Ebikes put your other half on one and you’ll have a great day out. I’m still yet to do every trail, only 6 remaining now. For those who want to explore and get the best out of Mogo .. It is for this exact reason we will be hiring out e-bikes!
I agree, but if referring to my comparison of venues, I kept it to sanctioned mtb parks, not just venues. Canberra has a great scene which I I know I have not explored enough Cheers Rolf 🤟
Great video and summary - I went for the first time about a month ago with my e-bike and it was fairly easy getting around even on low power. I rode for 4.5 hours and still didn’t get to do all the trails there!
Really informative video mate. Not one trail I saw in this video looked like a dud. Parking is super important to know so I really liked that. I’m a stress head when it comes to parking . Surely Mogo is the “new” place to ride . I really like the natural trails and the options it has. If I ever go there I’d def take the ebike coz I’m thinking of you sound like that I would be destroyed 🤣. No doubt you will be back and I look forward to seeing those videos. Cracking vid 🤘
Id love to Glen, but next week's video will explain why I cant. Im a bit crippled at the moment 😕. Sounds like a great outing for the pumpkin ordinarily 🤟
I haven't ridden mogo yet as it wasn't fully open ive been to narooma a handful of times as i live in Kiama there pretty close 2 too 3 hours ,nowra is getting better too at superbowl.
Mogo wont be done till late 2025. But there's soo much to ride now My next ride video is Nowra, I loved it and sent some big stuff on a secret private trail. Stay tuned 🤟
Great video, its got me re thinking my trip starting tomorrow! (Friday) from Brisbane. day 1.Taree, day 2 not sure?(Awaba, Helensburgh??), 3. Mogo (They have a planned group ride event this Sunday which we've booked), days 4&5 at Narooma, Day 6 at Tathra (2 options there I think??). Where do you reckon about day 7 before heading back via Canberra? Could be a 2nd day at Mogo?? Day 8 @ Stromlo then 3 to get home. Ive ridden stromlo before maybe pass and spend the extra time on the south coast? Thoughts? Suggestions. 50yr olds Riding analogue.
That’s an epic trip. Are you able to self shuttle? If yes that opens a few more great options Helensburgh is by far the weakest/least fun option on this list. Mogo - a day from Trig head and maybe a second from Botanic Gardens? Im jealous - great trip!! Ability to shuttle is key for Awaba and Gong/Kembla 🤟
@@malmtb self shuttle. Not really. Yeah not sold on helensburgh. Ive ridden awaba. Keener on kembla but I get the impression the trails are hard to find. Where exactly do we park/start?
@@tonyp4665 i can help with navigation but shuttling or fitness is required for Kembla. But with Awaba as a guide, if you can peddle up Awaba, you can peddle up Kembla
