“I always want to stay in charge of these skis, never ever do I want to be at the mercy of them.” That is beautiful advice. Stay in charge and in control of your equipment.
@@karlo407 this is a short from season 4 episode 13. Her name is Jullian Vogtli, she makes an appearance at around the 15min mark. Lucas did some runs with her and there is a follow cam of her. I recommend checking it out. Super immersive, very cool.

A great way to stay in charge of your skis is when you rent or buy them, get 1 or 2 sizes smaller then what they recommend, because kind of how your shoes would be, they have a little gap in between the tip of your shoes and your toes. you don’t want that with skis because less control. and it might hurt but your feet won’t be moving around in the boots.
Explain what she means about the inside leg in a backwards bicycle pedal position without getting your uphill ski behind the downhill ski and causing possibly the tips to cross or be turned uphill. I ski a lot and love bumps but don’t see how she means having enough time to incorporate that much flex toward the back of the mogul. What am I missing?
My way of thinking is think that there's a nickel under your big toe and press that nickel down with your big toe It will automatically shift you forward to have your shins into the tongue of the boot....oh yeah...
In moguls you have very little real estate to make your turn. Doing backward bicycle, you are maintaining constant contact with the snow to get your speed control. Instead of crashing into each turn, your are caressing the moguls like your lover.❤😂
