This is the best antenna I have ever had. I had another HD antenna and was always having to move it around to get the signal to come in for different channels. I plugged this one in and put it in one spot and haven't had to move it since. It receives over 150 channels, most of which I don't watch because they are in other languages but it's great.

I know this is an older video, but you gave me a great idea. I actually bought another HD antenna from best buy but a few of the channels would come in and out, was annoying. The antenna wire was no wheres long enough to put near a window on the other side of the room. Then i remembered my direct tv cable wire was still in place all around the room and to the window on the other side. So with a splinter box, that was left from the direct tv box i just used their old wire and plugged my antenna and splinter box in and now i get 60 crystal clear channels with no interference. Just stunning. I had a moment of thought when you said you hoped your wire would reach the window, thx again.

$768 is what I paid Directv a year. I set this exact antenna up and I get abc, fox, nbc, CW, 37 channels total. It’s just sitting at the bottom of my window. I am thinking of getting a longer cord and placing it higher and who knows what all will come in. No one needs to give over that kind of money when you can get these channels for free. I get free HBO from a cell phone family plan and pay for Netflix which is very cheap. I am feeling pretty happy.

I just cut the cable 2 weeks ago and ordered this very antenna. Thanks for the review. I live in a city of 115,000 and is very flat. If I can get the 4 major broadcasters, that'll be fine with me. I seldom watch TV. I also got this antenna for when I get familly visits, they'll have something to watch.

That’s great! I live in Los Angeles and bought a rabbit ears antenna for $1 at the 99¢ store. I get over 70 over-the-air channels. The channels are HD quality as well.

I'm also in Tallahassee (NE) and I purchased the Mohu mini since I'm only about 17 miles from most of the broadcast stations. I get all of the channels but I lose reception and get pixelation too often with it. Based on what I've seen here I think I'll take it back and get the Mohu Ultimate. Thanks for the review.

I'm stuck at the first step - I can't get the amplifier to screw into the port that says cable/antenna on the back of my TV. Maybe it is the wrong port - looks like a coaxial cable port? (I think - it sticks out with grooves in it). Your ampifier connector looks different from mine but is still obvious which connector coming out from the amplifier is supposed to go to the TV both from the directions and the fact that it is labeled "to TV".

Sam's club sells this antenna for $59.99. At Sam's you get 2 antennas for that price a 50 and a 40 mile range antenna.

Does the antennae have to be stuck to a window? Which side (white or black) faces out? I have it applied to the upper portion of my wall (near the tv) and I'm getting no channels. My TV is too far away from the window---cable isn't long enough. I live 50 miles from most of the TV towers in my area. 50 miles outside of Tampa, Florida.

The Antenna doesn't need to be stuck to a window. I read that some people used thumb tacks and secured it to a wall. That being said, I found that I get the best reception when it's high on my window. The reception seems to get worse if it's even sitting at the bottom of my window. So, I would expect the reception to be worse on a wall than it would be on a window. It doesn't matter which side faces out. I chose to put the white side facing in, so it blends in better with my window blinds and curtains. You might be pushing the limits of the antenna. It's alleged range is 50 miles, which you say you are right at. You could use Mohu's website to see if your zip code can even expect to receive any channels. I discuss that in my follow-up video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1rhpeLq83p4.html If the website says your area will receive channels, I would suggest looking into buying your own, longer, coaxial cable. The fittings on both ends of the supplied coaxial cable don't seem to be anything too specific. So, I'm sure you can buy a longer cable that will fit the antenna just fine. Don't quote me on that, though :) You, being 50 miles out, probably should have it right on the window. Thanks for watching!

I moved the leaf to the upper living room window and I've managed to get 3 channels. Not as many as I had hoped, but with Netflix as my primary source of TV it's not bad. I'm at least 50 miles away from the nearest towers. Thanks for your help.

Now to complete your cutting the cord i Highly recommend sling tv. you will get allot of premium sports channels, and they are cheap. i pay a total of 32 bucks for all the channels i have i wont go into explaining but if you could look at that also. just google sling tv. go to there website. you get channels like IFC, HGTV, Espn espn 2, disney, cnn, etc. for the basic package of 20 a month then you can add more packaged as low as 5 dollars, no contract. just need a streaming device. but yea its also live broadcasting. hope you check that out.

i just got the free trial for sling tv. hat sucks? you can only play one device at a time. so if the kids want to watch Disney Channel and I want to watch ESPN i can't. other than that is good.

Cord cutting refers to not having any major satellite or cable in your home. IT doesn't mean not having any monthly fees all together. People who "cut the cord" commonly move to internet based services, like sling, playstation vue, netflix, amazon video and so on.

I have a old Toshiba TV that is connected to a cable box. I want to get rid of cable. Can I connect this antenna directly into this tv without a digital converter box?

As long as your TV has an "ANT IN" port behind it, you can hook up an antenna! I talk about that in the video. Most modern TV's do have an "ANT IN" port, so I assume you're good to go. But double check it yourself to be sure. Thanks for watching!

Yeah it doesn't do much in Rural areas. I get 4 PBS channels on the first floor and zero on the second in testing one location each. I want to try to get a longer cord to attach it to window to see if that helps as the FCC signals test says I should be able to get a few more. I also got a cheaper Antenna for 20.00 one from the Drug store to compare. That one was the same in the same locations. Just those 4 PBS stations.

yeah, sometimes even when not. I saw somewhere someone said everytime a car goes past theirs blinks so I think various things cause skips here and there. I saw someone mention in a review that their gaming system interfered with it. And it says that in the paperwork I believe also about interference in general. So not something you can plan for. I am surrounded by lots of trees also. I think the higher you are and and more metro area its probably less because away from noise etc.

i have a 13 yo box tv. is this analog. do i need a converter that says analog to digital. will it connect easily to this antenna. thanks i did check and a website says i have 17 stations up to 39 channels.hope i can get that much.

Hate to ask a stupid question but do you need one of these antennas for EACH tv you own and want to use? I have more than one TV and dont just use one exclusively. Very good turotial...thanks very much.

It's not a stupid question! The hardware supplied with the Mohu antenna only allows you to hook up one TV. Now, I don't know if you can buy a spliter or something that can send the signal to multiple cables, which you could then attach to multiple TV's. Seems like a long shot though. You have a couple of good options for multiple TV viewing (other than buying multiple antennas). 1) You can check out the Silicondust HDHomeRun device 2) You can check out the TabloTV device I have a TabloTV and it works great. Both the HDHomeRun and TabloTV devices connect to your antenna and then the devices connect to your home network. From there, you can stream to multiple televisions via Rokyu, AndroidTV and several other media streaming devices. Cheers!

Comcast aka ConCrap keeps raising their rates every year. I renegotiated a deal with them and they never told me that if I wanted to change back I would have to pay $5.99 a month for every box. I"m dumping them for this antenna!

I get 15 channels total. Despite the video, I do get channels 11-1 through 11-3 now. The signal must have been weak at that moment. The main channels I care about are ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC. These play live sports. I was able to watch the Super Bowl essentially for free! Thanks for watching.

+Josue Rodriguez I'm getting 127 channels in L.A. Which made it easy to "Cord Cut" from time warner with no regrets. Save me $129 a month by cutting off cable. I also have a DVR unit, google tablo DVR or channel master DVR,. I don't pay any monthly fees for channels that you can get for free and why should you?

I hooked mine up with a 50 mile radius and I am 30 miles from WASHINGTON, DC, one of the most congested areas on the planet and got nothing!!! This antenna is a piece of shit...

Did you place it in an area where it would get optimal reception? did you even check to make sure you were in an area optimal for getting channels? Did you make sure there was nothing in the antenna's way that could possibly obstruct its view?
