Hi! Yes, I and I'm always looking for more on Instagram and Pinterest. Several times I have wanted to dye it, but seeing others with similar hair keeps me strong. LOL. Have a great day.
The mousse side wins. I just love your hair! Are you happy with your silver/white grow out? It's so striking. You must get compliments all the time. So gorgeous.
Yes, It looked fuller! I did some experimenting later in the week and believe that it may not only be mousse vs custard, but that my curl pattern is different on both sides. WEIRD. I have to say there are some days when I love my gray/white hair and others where I absolutely hate it. Once, I had gotten as far as mixing up a bottle of Revlon hair dye. If I am going to be 100% honest, some days when things just seem to go wrong, or I feel like I am falling far behind in my goals, or I don't feel well physically (illness or aging pains) I HATE my gray hair. Most of the time I love it. I get a few compliments here and there, but I believe people just see me as another gray haired lady... and that is fine. :)
Thank you. I ended up washing it the very next day and using mousse on the whole head. Of course the weather was akin to a Monsoon (massive exaggeration). I had a big poodle frizz ball head all day. Sigh. SMH.
I think the results are the difference between a more dry product than the moisture in the custard. They say you can also take rows of the bristles out of the brush by taking it apart. Also taking smaller sections helps the curls dry fast and be more fluffy I think. My hair is naturally wavy, and I used to curl it all the time. Now I'm trying the curly girl method and day one after shampoo is nice but then I remoisturize it with Its a Ten spray and it helps alot to redefine the waves. You have beautiful hair!
Yes definitely (Custards have a higher content of oils, butter, emollients). I had taken a few of the rows out of the brush. The video was so darn long that I ended up deleting those parts. :) I agree wholeheartedly about smaller sections. Going to try that next. I have used Its a Ten products. I like them too. Thank you so much! And thank you for watching.
@@YvettesDay yes, I should have got some its a ten when ulta had their 50% off those sale during Thanksgiving. They are quite pricey but I used a little today and I wonder if plain conditioner and water shaken up in a bottle would do the same thing?
Oh my word. I'm here looking for tips on the Denman brush (talk about late ... I'm 48!) And not only are your curls just beautiful, but you're absolutely _breathtaking_ in terms of your physical beauty, sense of style etc. I mean no offense, just a woman calling it what I see! I love your gray as well. I'm about 7 or 8 months in to my own naturally gray growth and it's humorous as where you'd is situated at the middle of the top of your head, mine is in 2 wide stripes above my ears. Lol. Oy. Just had to stop and comment and I look forward to watching the video! 💯🍁🕊️
Quinn Mae-You are waaaaaay too kind. If you saw me in a bookstore you'd be like, "Excuse me, but would you happen to know where the mysteries are?" Meaning-I'd be just an ordinary-looking person, looking at a book, who might know where something was in the store. But thank you. :) About the Denman brush... Yes, it is a good tool, however, I still have not been able to get any extraordinary curl definition like some of these other RU-vidrs. Also, I discovered that I have two completely different curl patterns on each side. One side dries like pencil curls and the other like ramen noodles. It has nothing to do with the Denman brush. Your gray pattern seems like it is going to be very unique! I hope you are excited about how it will turn out in the end. Have an awesome day.
Definitely like the mousse side better. Although, I understand about the crunchy feeling gels and mouse can leave on the hair. I think you are a great brain surgeon :) Have a happy holiday! 🎄☃️❄️🎁
Hi Val. I have to do another test. This time I want to use all mousse, but I have to wait for a day when the skies stop crying. "I think you are a great brain surgeon :)" LMAOOOOO. My MD was received on-line. :)
I do thiS in the shower and I use a tangle teezer brush instead and once I get out of shower I'll plop for 20min then let the rest air dry. Mousse side has more volume I like that side better
I have only come into this video right at the end so havent been influenced by any of the commentary, but I gather that one side had mouse applied to it. Well, to be honest, I can barely see any difference, but if I had to pick, I think the left side looks marginally better.
Thank you so much. A month ago, I realized that the products, the conditioner, etc. are not the cause of the curls looking different. It is actually just the way my hair is. One side is flat, frizzy, and droopy, and the other is more buoyant.
I would have to agree about the hair drying faster. With heavier cream products my hair stays wet a lot longer. On another note-just the other day, I noticed that mousse leaves my hair shinier whereas heavier creams make my hair look dull.
@@YvettesDay All is well 🙂 I'm editing a video as I type! I will upload it tomorrow and will try to get back on a schedule, and your right this "life" was getting out of hand..lol..hope all is well with you too! I think we should both try to upload more frequently because I miss your videos and start to panic because most of my favs leave and don't come back 😭😄
Thanks, Pam. This made me laugh. In my family those are fighting words. LMAO. Such a statement is made when an individual is behaving in a less than satisfactory, pleasing, or reasonable manner. Thank you for making my weekend.
