God of War 2018 (Part 3) If the video appears blurry while viewing there is a chance that RU-vid is still processing the HD version. Try checking back later to see if it's fixed.
@@gage5332 it's pretty damn helpful for raising your stats/level so things don't instaclap your cheeks. You're right though it's not super worth sinking too much into early gear since you're able to find pretty good gear as you go as well craft some pretty damn strong stuff down the line.
@@Rageaholic2213 yea level is the most important thing in the early game. You won't start stacking a significant amount of rune or strength until purple armors. The early game of GMGOW is just so bitchy. And Alfheim is still kinda early game. And if he goes for a strength run on GMGOW, fucking go him. Runic is so much easier. Hel Touch (with the enchantment if course), followed by Glaive Storm clears most basic waves and significantly hurts the health and posture of bigger guys. Once you get the blades it just gets wacky.
never lock on in that game, Kratos does it automatically anyway, and i feel like the lock on systeme in that game f*ck's up the dodge roll idn why like it's easier to dodge without.
1:39:22 "didn't get a chance" To do what? Press the right stick for an attack? You DO NOT NEED to do that. It's quicker to just keep hitting it with the axe when it's in that vulnerable position. Plus if you have powerful moves unlocked for the axe, it does quite a bit more damage.
I would bet money that Charlie doesn't beat all the valkyries.....he has had such a difficult time getting this far and can't be bothered with doing any side missions or exploring for more opportunities to upgrade his armor.......he just does not have the brains or the resolve.
Did you f*cking see the blue arrows doing nothing to the ennemies stun bar? 80% of the ennemies have purple bars at his level, stun does nothing against that..
While halfway through Charlie's part 2 video of this playthrough...... I installed the game disk to my PS4. I did every side quest and collectable available in early game at the lake of 9. I also caught up, and passed Charlie and am already back at the lake of 9. I am on the same difficulty as Charlie as well....... In this video I'm at 1:03:26 at the time I'm leaving this comment. I also havent had nor needed thousands of people to hold my hand through the game.... Conclusion.......Charlie is just garbage.....I got to this point in what....6 or more hours....
I feel bad for the GoW devs having to implement an Xbox controller icon set (on a PlayStation and pc exclusive game) just for the people who play on pc with an Xbox controller
everyone gave Charlie some bad advice. 1. telling him to upgrade Boi first, made him only focus on upgrading Boi 2. telling him to do any sort of side quest instead of speed running to the top of the mountian to get MIMIR!!! The game is 1000x better with Mimir. 3. telling him to upgrade Boi
Just your opinion I guess. Upgrading “Boy” was a great choice be he is very valuable in the start of the game. He even helps making fights a lot easier, especially when fighting groups. Not only that, but Charlie did not have the material he needed to find for buying new armor even though he’s picked up every single item and unlocked every single unlockable chest from this point on. So obviously upgrading “Boy” is a smart idea.
@@justadonut1 I'm by this point not having upgrade in throw and permafrost is a sin. He kept saying he would use it but in fact since the beginning he is forced to use both. And the more the game go the more both throwing and simply attacking someone for a long time is required. But no, instead he have to economise for the next boy upgrade
@@krystophemorel302 I am so confused by what you just said. And if you didn’t hear, upgrading Atreus was key to the start of the game if you didn’t know. Also if you are talking about skills, which I’m not sure of because I just did not understand what you just said, if he didn’t buy it then it was because it isn’t useful for the difficulty “Give Me God Of War”. Simple.
@@justadonut1 I played the game, I did a 100% at that difficulty. Permafrost and the upgrade for throwing are ones of the best skills. One give free damage as long as you are attacking without getting hit, which is an obligation since you get two shot a lot of the time so it always happens, and the upgrade for throws are really important since you are literally forced to use throws for some enemies, and when you play normally, (not like he's done so far making it much harder) you always throw your god damn axe, especially in-between attacks. Those two combined are way more useful than economise for boy. Especially in the early game since Atreus only get stronger as the time goes and is kinda shit at fighting at first until you get the first light upgrade. By the way, most skill upgrade are way better than Atreus for the simple reason you do way more damage than him. Upgrading him is great, but basically it make you relie on your support and for the arrows instead of example throwing your god damn axe.
