Wait... right when avid is about to play the map... (at 23:05) It cuts to the dark path ending... we can only see 2 lines of dialog but still... Cassius: If you do, well... let's just say we'll give you Dihn's blade Nova as a reward. Cassius: Don't disappoint him. We can infer "him" is Olm, and the thing we're doing is stopping xaleem. Cassius probably got Nova from Dihn when they were weakened, and... forcefully took it. This also means dark path reward is Nova. Not sure if light path also gives it, but... yeah. Or maybe it's a challenge, if we "do it well" then we get Nova, like no or minimal damage to the tower. We can also assume Cassius teleported out.

Avid forged the 1000 bosses timeline himself. He took a hit, bounced back, but it's a cannon event. Avid peak content is inevitable, we witness it now...

somehow we both came into the same problem and had the same idea in completely different maps and contexts when it comes to simulating gravity for mobs that are constantly being teleported to "walk" in a given direction

been absolutely addicted to this channel lately, and just caught up on all the avid adventure videos and dude it's actually so incredible the amount of effort you put in and the talent, skills, and amount of commitment you have its incredibly admirable

I am a programmer and I know this feeling, it's not a bug I couldn't fix, it's a feature I made. Then I force myself to believe that it's cool and it made the game better. So it's okay if you have a bug that the monsters are nodding their head.

Is it possible to know what commands you used for the pathfinding? I have some mobs that I want to walk across varied terrain, and I don't want to copy the terrain underground and tether the mobs to dummies to get them to pathfind.

Just a little recommendation. When you use invisible armor stands with no gravity, the marker entity could work great. They have no hitbox, so players can punch and right click through the marker entity without any obstruction. They also don’t have any transparent view in spectator mode. It acts like a much more convenient invisible armor stand, and since it has no render or collision, it’s much more optimized and laggy, which you’d want for a command block map. I hope I don’t come off as condescending!! I just would like to ask if you know what the marker entity is and if you do, why do you use armor stands over them?

I'm not too deep into the ACU, but I feel like Yarr is kinda like Muffet from Undertale. in a world full of bosses with existential motivation: undyne avenging her friends, flowey destroying the world, and then muffet. a capitalist spider.

I love the technical aspect of the videos. Because of you I've gotten into java coding, which isn't exactly the same but I plan on creating some similiar-ish things (a world for me and my friends to play on). Also that sword is awesome. also teeny idea, it could be cool if nova decreases the player max health, cause then it balances out the op weopon and its kinda like its such a strong weopon its difficult to even use.

so I'm making my own Adventure map based on yours and i needed to ask you a question. how do you manage adventure mode like if i make it always adventure mode then the players wont be able to do anything other than the quests but if they are survival when and how do i turn them to adventure i thought of giving them a pick that mines everything but then i would have to take it away and give it back whenever they go to a quest or near one which is fiddly so you know how do you do it

To be honest, having portal spawn on you feels bad, especially when there are enemies coming out of it, besides it introduces the risk of accidentally getting into the minigame when you are just doing your own business when building. It would be a pain for me to be thrown into some mob arena, with all my items, just to spend there a good couple of minutes, just because I finished one quest, and was in the middle of filling 1000x1000 platform of dirt, or even worse afk in some farm that requires rightclick. So, what will happen to all my dirt when I will get transported with it to that deathtrap? Streambrainvid, consider changing the spawn conditions of the portal to requirement of having the otherside quest completed, and having its quest item in the inventory. Also, use the spread players command to not spawn the portal on top of the player, and add some effect that will make the portal grow out, or indicate that it will spawn (something like a fuse?), and not just explode out of thin air right it is doing now. Besides that, have you tried adding some quick flashes using lightblocks into the supernova move or night vision effect? That attack should look better with them than just one particle fart that obscures the screen. Also what happens when the player leaves the minigame?

There is some RU-vidrs who put maps they/their team made, and it give also an free publicity, That would be nice for all the Minecraft Players that are not playing on pc, but if you don't want to, ok, I respect your choose

Sorry if you already know this, but it'd probably make it easier for you when you're loading up that many structures: structure blocks can be powered by redstone, so you might have an easier time just placing redstone blocks next to them!
