This has become my go to channel for rc reviews. If there is a weak spot in an rc, my man AJ will find it! And he’s never biased at all. I purchased an Mojave exb after his review, after watching countless “reviews” by other guys. Thanks for the great reviews and advice! Keep it up!
Thanks for the review. It’s nice to see a review where you are driving it like a normal person and aren’t just launching it into the air breaking things.
This truck is such a blast! If you get a chance to drive from dirt to pavement, it's like reliving a Starskey & Hutch episode! Tons of body roll, those tires groan and chirp like hell! You can pull all those movie stunts you saw when you were a kid, the truck is amazing! I love the idea for the body mounts, I will try that
I recently (today) discovered your channel, i'm SO glad that I did, I love the flow of your videos, great bashing action combined with your calming voice & nature just make for a killer video in my opinion. Big love from england
Great review, great video and footage. I picked up a used EXB Mojave for a good price (waiting on it). Mine is coming with a good servo, with the Castle mamba monster x and 1717 motor, 19t pinion, and other upgrades. Bigger tires too. I can't wait!
Great, Just Great….Now I need a Mojave EXB. Thanks a lot. Lol…Great video as Usual. I bought the TLR Typhon after watching your review of that. I think I’ll just have to buy all the Arrma Rollers.
How am I just finding this channel?? Love it! The runnining footage is great and your a good speaker! I was on the fence about the exb & reg 6s mojave. Love your channel! New fan!
Wow another great video. I truly enjoy watching your videos on RC's how you break it down to the last screw that may need to be adjusted. I currently have a 10yr old TMAXX 3.3, a few of the 1/16 traxxas cars and a my baby 6yr old traxxas Stampede 4x4 vxl. I have one question how do you feel about the Losi Tenacity DB or the Arrma Typhon? Stay Blessed.
In our experience the Losi deals with track situations really well, while the Typhon 6s, 3s, or TLR variants are bashers. Yes the TLR version was designed for track use but it holds its own with the others. They all handle great, including the Losi. Let’s put it like this, I would jump any of the Typhons, and have long jumped them all, but I would not do that with the Tenacity. Still, all are fun, fast, and fixable when broken. Thank you for asking 😎👍
We all have limitations when it comes to finding a useable space. I'm one of the fortunate ones who can find the right area to bash the bigger cars. But, if I am being honest, I love the 1/8th scale cars best. Speed, durability, handling, they seem to have it all. Bash on my friend. AJ
@@AJJAMStudios Picking one up next week and really looking forward to using it. Just had to watch this vid again! No access to carbon fibre or tools to cut so will have to look into an alternative to strengthen those weak spots.
Great & honest review!! If given only a choice, Mojave exb & Kraton exb, which is a keeper for you and why sir? Hope to hear from you soon! Stay safe and well!
That's a tough one, for I love them both. But...as far as how I usually blast, I would have to say the Kraton EXB would win the day. It would pain me to give up my Mojave, for it has it's own special charms, but that's the choice I would be forced to make. As for why...I would have to say the high powered bashing and high flying of the Kraton EXB would win the day for me. High impact landings, super durability, and controlled flying really gets me. I hope this answers your question. AJ
I would've open each diff to inspect and Add your favorite oil combo. Mine in 50F 500Center 30R✔️ . Thing looked great out there kicking up dust!! Name it Dusty🤣 The diff pins for me are snapping.
the side flaps arent the problem on the body mounts in my case the middle round things broke aaaallll the time. I ended up and put in foam. But I will try your solution as well.
Both may help. I hope my solution works for you. As for me...I haven't broken a basket yet, just the tabs. So I guess we'll see how things go in the future. Let me know our fix works for you, and let me know if you find a better solution to the basket issue. We do pay attention to the comments. Thanks. AJ
Thanks for the amazing review!..Mojave is am absolute performance machine no doubt..but personally for my next vehicle,I'm confused between this and the outcast 6s exb, which I hear a lot about being the ultimate tough 6s basher with pretty impressive handling in spite of being a stunt truck. Please do consider getting an outcast exb next so that it would help me decide(i understand its a different machine altogether,still)..☺ Btw,I pinned down on the xMaxx after I watched your brutal review👃🤟😊
The Outcast 6s and the Notorious 6s are the same machines with slightly different styling. Both are awesome stunt trucks but they lack in the performance area as the short chassis lifts the front tires most of the time. If that's what you're looking for then it might be a good fit. By the way, we have a Notorious here at the studio, but it's Nate's rig, so I haven't done a video on it yet. Still, the Mojave is stupid fast, controllable, and a blast to drive; if you have the conditions to use it. The Outcast is able to go more places due to its wheel size, but I would swap out the LP tires for the Kraton 6s tires, it takes a bit of the touchiness out of the throttle and makes it easier to control. I hope this helps. 😎👍
@@AJJAMStudios thank you brother for the time you took to give an elaborate answer my query!!..i totally get your point there and i it's all about taste.,and need to decide based on that👍👍🙂
Hi, very good review 👍 I would like to ask You, Your mojave had pinion gear im box? At the moment I have E Revo and xmaxx, next will be Arrma Mojave EXB or Kraton EXB1/5 8s 😁 what do You Think about this two 🤔 Best regards
Yes it did, but I used the stock pinion from my Talion in the video. Also, I don’t possess the 1/5th scale Kraton, but I absolutely love the Mojave EXB. 😎👍
Things have changed a bit since this video came out. As things stand today the Kraton 8s is number one and the Mojave is number two. Thanks for asking 😎👍
I thought you would crush the rc i cheated >.< it's a very cool rc but here the price is very expensive i love the video awesome video and very entertaining
I would use the Mojave in groomed areas, like pathways, track areas, and so forth. In heavy or rough terrain I would say the Kraton has the edge, to an extent it does anyway. Both are fast, fun and tough, but the short arms of the Mojave make it stronger than the Kraton simply because of the smaller amount of stress placed against the hinge pin areas. Leverage plays a great role in durability. We've had less trouble with any of our Mojave's than we've had with our Kratons. I hope this answers your question.
HI AJ. I usually run my rc cars in grass since I have a football / baseball field next to my house.. and I don't have a big packing lot or a dirt track/ terrain available.. Question is.. Do the Mojave will be good on grass? Same question goes for the Typhoon 6s.. I Currently drive a Kraton exb/M2c 6s and a Big Rock V3 3s. Thank you..
My experience with both cars tells me the Kraton would be better vehicle on grass. Both cars will run on grass but they usually feel muted compared to the bigger cars. You’ll have to check it out for yourself because it’s a personal choice. You may love the way they run. Good luck choosing. 😎👍
I feel your pain. 1/8th scale just sits better with me for some reason. I can't really explain it, but that's how I feel. Don't get me wrong, I love all of the different RC's, but some just excite me more than others. Thanks for the comment. AJ
The exb has the heavier aluminum for the chassis braces, chassis, and shock towers. Plus the limited slip diffs, and many other small improvements. I hope this helps. AJ
@@AJJAMStudios i dont do big jumps. i like to rip.. do you think the exb is over kill for what i like to do and just stick with the RTR? I have the senton love it .. its just so light for the power it has. I put granite tires on it and it handles better. I just want a big scale. your thoughts?
Hi, I'm wondering which rc to buy. The "Traxxas UDR fox" or "Arma Mojave EXB" I saw both your videos of both cars but It would be nice to have a head to head comparison. Can you help me? Thx
@@joseCalderon1976 Thx !! The only thing that bothers me on UDR is the reputation that Traxxas has. I mean that Traxxas is known for breaking parts. Or am I wrong?
@@DelcopRC Their vehicles are overpriced and their electronics are not that good. I only own a TRX4 sport and an Xmaxx. Those who two and the Maxx 4s are the only vehicles that I would buy from them. Their business practices are shady too. From what I've seen on videos about the UDR is that it breaks easily with jumps and it's less stable than the Mojave.
