The pinnacle of rc warbirds for sure . I think all rc enthusiasts aspire to own one of these fire- breathing war replicas. these planes where not only unbelievably beautiful and highly advanced for there time but had an amazing sound to them that was all there own. The sound demands attention and every fiber of your being wants to own and fly one. Great vid .. please keep them coming.
Glorious. A Moki is as recognisable as a Merlin. Of course, everybody will have their own favourite engine sounds, but whatever your nationality, these wonderful radials are perfect for RC warplanes. :-)
@@kenvanpassen9247 OS makes a rotary engine for RC applications. There are videos on RU-vid. For example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pftLfBjN6kQ.html Of course there are radial RC engines as well.
What an incredible amount of time and effort that has gone into this beautiful group of planes ! The unmistakable growling of these Moki radials ! Absolutely gorgeous planes, and engine notes alike ! Just can't quite get enough of them !
Sea Fury's & Corsairs % Jugs ,OH MY . Sea Fury's & Corsairs & Jugs , OH MY . (with a little Tempest MkII thrown in for good measure). Love the corsair's folding wings . Great work both flying and taping . Thank you for posting and God Bless , Paul
beautiful scale warbirds.. the take offs and landings are not as scale though. the corsair with its folding wings is a wow as well as the thunderbolt. rivets on the fuselage and wings, as well as on board camera could very well make them a large FPV transport.
For those of you asking where can you get one of these... These are not the simple toys some of you people seem to think at first glance. You can research manufactures of 1/5 scale air frames and up if you plan on getting one of these Moki radials in one. But you better have a big check book, because the engines range from $3-7K alone, then you need about 3-5k more to build a scale model of the caliber you're seeing here as well as to equip it with the proper electronics, etc. Those are base line prices realistically. And you better already have a minimum of 2-3 years of flight experience with RC planes before you even consider trying you're hand at a scale ship like these. Again, realistically you need 5-10+ years of experience under you're belt and a load of building skills all tied into a healthy understanding of flight dynamics to boot. These seriously aren't toys in the grand scheme of what all is involved. I myself would probably be considered a model expert, but I have been flying these things since I was 11 years old in 1993 and I am still not done learning, let alone keeping pace with modern equipment advancements.
2 to 3 years? Fly and land that plane 1st try. I'm gonna get the money and buy one and put it on youtube. "Young man buys an expensive RC Plane with no experience" Challenge accepted. Don't worry about the big hole on my wallet.
I saw one model aircraft with the wings folded up which is good, but what about the rest of them how do park them at home, especially the Boeing747 which would take up a lot of room.
hi George, all these large models strip down into smaller sections then pack away into a van or a trailer ! even the corsair with the folding wings strips down into smaller parts !

The reason, there aren't any females at these events, is due to they lost the battle of how to correct invest 10000+£, so they left leaving their x-men to play as much as they wanted...
