Chad Martfeld yes, that’s why the helicopters do have a speed limit of barely over 300kmh, because on the side where rotors are moving to forward the speed ov the chopper added to the rotor’s speed and that can’t be supersonic
I was a little offput by it. Reminds me more of an AT-6 where the prop tip speed was going supersonic but the plane is just pokin around. However it is awesome sounding my associative scale sound gripes aside and is a beautiful aircraft as well. A reminder that I don't have an artsy hair on my body when you compare that plane to any of mine. You should have seen my model railroading experiences. I wired them really well, built my own speed controllers, but applying scenery to structure? Might as well just laid track down on a piece of plywood.🤣 Oh well, I can grow green beans, corn, potatos AND I've got 32 chickens, so there!😂 What I'm trying to say is, Beautiful plane AND he flys it well.
WOW!! that is one of the coolest RC planes I have ever seen. The sound is absolutely amazing. I dont know how many times I would fly that thing if it were mine though,... he must have a ton of dough in that bad boy
OMG! What a treat! That low pass at low RPM sounded just perfect. Though the supersonic prop is awesome too... Congratulations on a truly spectacular model
WOW WEE, just saw your video and this is a great model. As a sound engineer I can only say "O MY GOD" this is the best sound and very much like the real Corsair. Well done!!!!!!!!! Muse
love that idling sound, could listen to it all day. O come on you James Brown haters, the music isn't over shadowing the engine sound, so quit complaining.
That three blade prop makes all the difference. Why do other 400cc Moki WW2 fighter models stick to 2 blade props when, clearly, 3 or 4 blades are historically correct?
What’s even more distinctive than the 3-bladed prop (4-blades on some), was the massive 13-foot diameter prop on the actual Corsair. It is painfully obvious on so many Corsair models when the prop diameter isn’t to scale.
Gentlemen, Though a three or four blade prop on a Corsair or a Mustang or any other fighter is more appropriately correct and obviously much more scale. It is important to keep in mind one huge deciding factor. Two blade props are much more efficient than a three or four blade prop. An rc engine just can not produce the efficiency and power to turn a three or four blade prop like their full grown counterparts could. Weight on the nose and power of an rc just can not compete with full scale. That is why many of you will see warbird "flown" with a two blade prop.
Rob Epley Oh certainly true enough. I have the RealFlight R/C simulator for my laptop, which allows me to make edits to R/C aircraft. You have to go to great lengths to get a scale prop diameter on the Corsair in that simulator, and I have no doubt, you have to go to similar lengths for an R/C model in real life. And the smaller the model, the tougher it is. All the more reason to truly appreciate it when someone makes a model such as this one.
Truly Beautiful Corsair. We had a neighbor in Leawood (KC) KS in the late 70's (while I was in college) who had flown Marine Corsair (VMF) Nightfighters during WW2. Imagine returning at night (like he did) to a carrier which is almost pitch black--while enemy bombers are hoping to see your carrier and sink it. At least this video allows the superb engine sounds to dominate at times. I
Very nice video. Music is subdued, so no big deal; just be better without it. Definitely the VERY BEST aerial landing gear deployment and video capture of any I've ever seen. Especially on my favorite airplane. Tail wheel first then main doors and main gear drop and rotate to lock. loved it.
I just watched a video titled “ the best sounding rc airplane” the plane in that video had absolutely NOTHING on the sound of this plane!! Astounding job building this plane!
I can't understand why someone who spends so much money making a beautiful scale model that this is with a wonderful sounding engine on board then go and add shit fxcking music in the background when flying it, what is he trying to say!!!.
As a child I read the memoirs of a chap Who Flew One of These in WWII. He Claimed the flight manual said that the characteristics were SO poor, that if the engine stopped, you should bail-out (if high enough) ... OR 'Whistle A Tune and Kiss Yer Ass Goodbye '! ... Because a 'dead-stick "landing Was very iffy. Hope that the 'Wee Pilote' in this one realizes that...💋
A very nice comparison to the foamy one hahaha real macho war plane simply perfect only the music totally out what you want is the reality of sound of that engine
NO! Not even close, the real Corsair passing by over the treetops is just so thunderously loud you can feel the vibrations in the ground to your chest! Just ear shattering!
I stopped watching at 2:38, after skipping there to see if the stupid background music was still on. It was - so I hit pause and won't watch the rest, outta here.
@@darrendix5163 2 by Moki 400's you say? OK search for "RC B-25 Apache Princess", see if you like THAT sound :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dGC6MIYx6i8.html What gets me is, they're big for model engines but still, it's 400cc, yet at idle they sound like a 10 litre truck. It's not the capacity but the speed they turn, I guess, and the classic radial odd-firing sound - awesome.
To anyone and absolutely EVERYONE out there that adds idiotic music to these videos...stop it! The kindest thing to be said about that is it's the biggest DISTRACTION there can be and takes away from the subject of this genre, which is to see and hear the results of the MODLER"S work...not a musical score that has NOTHING to do with the video.
