excellent video!! People, to work this type of 2 part mold, first you need some experience with one-part molds. there's no point in breaking your head figuring this out as beginners. go step by step. many questions I see here could be solved nefore asking if you practice simple molds first. cheers!
Depending on the type of plastic you are using, you can do either or. Our Freeman Color Tint can be used to die both Urethanes and Epoxies. The Fast Cast Urethanes, Rigid Polyurethanes Elastomers, and Epoxies can also be painted.
@arromazam Well of course most of us are just going to build the box with bits of junk or, if you're really lazy like me, more plasticine, but they might as well show you how to do it so it looks all neat and nice.
yeah you could also use for a model horse, but you have to really think about where the separation line is so it will be easy to remove from the mold (i.e. if there is a curve on the tail, how would you remove it from the mold)...or you could cast it lying on its side but you would have a more noticeable flashing line
If you have a model or pattern to work from, you can create a mold using our V-330 Silicone Rubber to create your mold. Additional information on this product and how to use can be found on our website. Our Repro Fast Cast Urethanes may be an option to cast the replicas.

I wouldn't call that complex. That's about as simple of a model as you can get. Find a model that has extensions that form gaps between the main body and the extensions.
Because everyone has the opportunity to machine on a mill. Also everyone molds things that are a simple machining job to make a parting line. What a joke! Stuff i mold needs clay or alginate
and that woden box!!!, like it is going to the moon!, c'mon guys, get a life, dont be so wastefull, neither in time or in materials, this is just a waste of life.
