The plaintiff rented an apartment from the defendant, a broker. When the plaintiff moved in, it stunk. Turns out, there was a sewage backup problem, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant argues the issue was resolved, and the plaintiff just changed her mind about the apartment. He insists he did nothing wrong.
