I have a question I would like someone to answer please: Why are almost always monocytes shown smaller than granulocytes by the forward scatter? Even at the beginning of this video it says that monocytes are larger than neutrophils (2:10) (and if I'm not mistaken, basophils and eosinophils are smaller also). Thanks.

As far as I understood the Video, ist because granulocytes have high internal complexcity

Cell membrane will get disrupted and thus it count as smaller than neutrophil

so as far as I can see at (5:33) the monocytes and neutrophils produce the same forward scatter. the neutrophils are numerous and so produce a larger spread which makes it look like they are bigger. If the monocytes were as numerous i think the spread would also push the the monocyte population a little further to the right as is seen in the neutrophil population.
