In this video, I'll show you how I planned in 2017 in my Moleskine weekly planner. There are lots of layouts and spread inspiration for you to try out. Just because you have a functional planner, it doesn’t mean you can’t make it pretty with some washi tape and stickers to give it some life.
This is the very first planner I’ve used for a full year and I’m pretty proud of myself for finally sticking to it. In the process, I discovered my planning style and what works and doesn’t (monthly trackers and water trackers - nope!). Hope this helps you in some way :)

I was excited to see this video. I don't think Moleskine Weekly Notebooks get nearly enough kudos :) I loved how you decorated your pages. This planner allows for so much flexibility with stickers and washi, and still allows for lots of functional planning. I also struggle to use the random notes pages at the front. I wish they instead they had more notes pages at the back. But in any case, this is one of my favourite planners. There is so much soul in Moleskine planners and notebooks (if that makes sense, haha). Thanks for sharing! :)

I like how you layer, and are creative with your stickers and washi. Like how you used the teardrops to make your own flower.

The jar stickers are from the Happie Scrappie although they're pretty old so no idea if they're still being sold! And thank you - I love color :)

Love your planner 💕💕 I have one of my own and was wondering what pen you used that doesn’t seem to bleed through the pages?

Thank you! :) I used mostly Pentel RSVP and Poppin ballpoint pens. You can use Microns with minimal ghosting. There's something about the paper that it takes gel pens forever to dry so they tend to smudge a lot. Also, feel free to use Tombows & Mildliners - they hold up well. Hope that helps!

what do you use the side page of each week for typically? not sure if i want to buy this one or the horizontal week one! thanks :)

It depends on what I need to get done that week and how busy it is. I've had layouts with 2 columns - personal & work - and then a bottom section for recording workouts. I've also done "top 5" of the week followed by "secondary 5" and even "tertiary 5". I've also drawn a weekly habit tracker in the bottom of the space or just doodled drawings or wrote notes from the week. It's so flexible - I love it! :)

There are a lot of stickers in this flip through! Which spread are you referring to? If I had to guess, I'd say it's the Pumpkin Paper Co girl. :)

Do you also like the Moleskine Classic Notebooks, for journalling etc?

I have so many old notebooks that I haven't had a reason to buy a Moleskine notebook although I really should! :) Have you used them?

I do use them. I love to get a weekly notebook and a 'matching' notebook. In 2017 I had Batman themed books, this year I have plain black, and I have preordered black again for next year - even though I'm very tempted by the colours, it's not easy to get the planner and notebook of the same theme. I will be watching out for The Little Prince ones for 2019, and would consider selling the black ones if the themed ones appeal to me more. :) It's not easy to get them in New Zealand, and I don't want to miss out which is why I preorder. :)

I sort of did that last year except with a Scribbles That Matter notebook. I found it to be too heavy for lugging around every day so I switched to Muji notebooks this year. They're so much lighter! I just use them for daily todo lists and the random note. I really like this system :)
