Oh boy, sorry my voice-over sounds so raggedy and if the editing is a bit choppy. I'm currently ill in bed and everything's a bit much lol. Hope you enjoy nonetheless! All info on stuff mentioned is right in the video description!
"not every page can be finished", thank you I love sketchbook tours bc they are a source of inspiration to me but sometimes when I'm looking at my own I feel bad for having half done drawings or an almost empty page in there, I feel the need for every page to be extraordinary and perfect even though I know that's rubbish and will keep me from actually improving and trying new things so thank you for this subtle reminder, I didn't expect to hear it when I clicked the video but I realise I really needed it
I'm not an artist but I appreciate videos like this where you list all the supplies you used and different techniques and references..it's incredibly generous and helpful for others out there. You are inspiring many people. Thank you : )
I love how she lets us see the nudity art. Most artists always block them. I love when artists don't hide it from their fans, and they're showing everything they drew in their book! Amazing video ❤️
I LOVE the drawing you did of the two people embracing with the green gouache. The green really creates a connection between the two people, which makes it emotional and meaningful
UGH you are SOOOOOOOO inspiring!!!! i found your channel a long time back just at the point in my life where i was feeling really stagnant with my art and though i have a really long way to go, i can't explain how instrumental you've been in helping me think outside the box. i just can't thank you enough, you are heaven sent!
I always struggle with trying to fill college sketchbooks, not quite knowing what content will be useful to trigger my creativity to produce something big. So this was quite inspiring :) ✨
OMG all the editing and annotations! Ty for doing this! Also thank you for "when I'm anxious and wanna draw, but also really don't" - I have this so much, and to see how others deal with it really helps!
Wow, I'm speechless: thanks for sharing your sketchbook! I love the diversity of your subjects, the fact that you share references (Croquis café is so useful) and your overall style:) The clean edges really add something to your landscapes by the way!
HOWWWW HOWWWW this popped up on the discover page and I was like yeah why not. THEN THIS HAPPENED! THIS SHOULD BE IN A FREAKING MUSEUM!!!! Gosh you are a literal art goddddd
It's like your fingertips just leak of creativity. My sketchbook is so plain, this reminds me that I can always take it to the next level. When I stumbled across you on RU-vid I knew I found someone who would inspire me for a life time! ✨
Watching these sketchbook tours inspired me to fill up a whole sketchbook.... AND I FINALLY MADE IT!!!... and I find it addicting. It's just so calm and relaxing making an art for yourself.
it's my 29th birthday tomorrow and my husband got me a moleskine watercolor sketchbook today that I wanted because of your videos! You so inspire me. I especially love the way you will place different colored papers in your book to add a different element of interest. It's so neat! Love the video!!
Minnie! I was just in a watercolour lesson and I drew something inspired from your human sketches in this sketchbook, the teacher adored it. Thank you soo much! Wouldn't've happened without you ❤
I find the page of the house with the red background so inspiring! Thank you for sharing your sketchbook with us. I'm in a bit of an art slump, and this was helpful in wanting to dive back in.
Ahhh. I love your sketchbook tours. You don't have very many so it always feels like a treat to see a new one! Excited to see this! Your artwork is so visually stunning. From the collages to the messy sketches, everything is so beautiful in its own way
All of this looks absolutely gorgeous, Minnie. I was doing work, but as soon as I clicked on this, I was frozen, mesmerized for the full ten minutes. Every time you put out a video, I am inspired to pick up my sketchbook. Thank you so much for sharing your art, and I hope you feel better soon!!
I always find it so entertaining and enlightening to watch your videos. I've always been envious of people who have such artistic talent and wish I could fill up a sketchbook like this! Your pieces are so similar yet so very different - you produce amazing pieces, even if these are only micro versions of the best of your abilities. Keep it up - these videos are so soothing :)
Art, especially ones done in watercolor and ones on sketchbooks, soothes my soul and your art is amazing! So glad I discovered you; I have so much more videos to watch now. :)
I think your series was my main inspiration to start a sketchbook. I did so in February and handed it in as a part of my portfolio for a college application when it was almost full at the end of last month. I love the idea of sticking and taping things in there. I put in a lot of small drawings I did otherwise that I liked but that would have been a little lonely on their own. Really hope you will make another video like this, your sketchbook videos are so inspiring!
I absolutely love your work! Thank you for showing a lot of it, I know how stressful it can be to show everyone your artwork, when you don't always feel good about it. Keep up the good work love.
Had to pause throughout the video just to tell you how much I enjoy your content! You're talented and have a magical, ethereal voice (for real, i love it so much). You're awesome ♥
Ahh I love your simplified landscapes, so vibrant. I've been trying bigger brushes myself. The temptation for detail is to go for the smallest brushes. I ended up down to a brush you paint warhammer figurines with. I really had to break myself out of it so got a good size 14 brush and did some free painting. So liberating to get out of the headspace of perfection
Minnie I adore this video so much. I only found your channel at the beginning of the 30 ways series but I have since been through and watched every single one of your videos. I love your style, and you have inspired me to try and do something in my sketchbook every day. And whenever I am stressed about anything I come and watch a couple of your videos and I always leave feeling relaxed and wanting to create. I've never been one for drawing faces (landscapes and buildings are more my thing) but seeing your work has pushed me to try and practice faces more. I also have a couple of your prints from your shop on my summer wishlist to treat myself to. Wow, sorry for the super long and soppy comment, I'll be off now. But yeah, I'm so glad I found your channel, thank you!
Thanks for sharing this and also for describing! Btw I've noticed several times that you'll make excuses for not remembering every detail or for the editing - maybe it's your personality but others drawing here on RU-vid (thinking especially of GUYS) will either NOT say sorry or just "This is rough so hang on!" I think you're a great artist on the way to something even greater, so, more self-confidence and less perfection ;-) You're giving a lot to the community here.
I love your videos and organization and all that you do. For a while I got away from art, even though I really enjoy it, and I was never allowed to paint as a kid, and you inspired me to start painting and drawing/sketching more. Thanks so much!
not sure if you know about croquis cafe but it's a RU-vid series for life drawing with live models - I have really appreciated having it as a resource and so far not a lot of people I've talked to know about it!
Im so happy you uploaded this today! I was thinking about your sketchbook series this morning and how I want to try your 30 ways to fill a sketch book :) Thanks for being so inspiring!!
Very inspirational. I have learned a lot from watching your videos. I've been more relaxed with how I 'structure' my sketchbook. Very big into extending the size of pages with fold outs and working with random paint into a final image.
Raggedy? I didn't notice anything at all!! You have a natural talent in always sounding soothing. Your video also gave me a little inspiration to finally go use my sketchbook, as well. Hope you get better soon too, Minnie!
I was just watching you last sketchbook series video today wondering when the flip through was going to come! Absolutely love it! You are so inspiring :)
Super love sketchbook tours and I love how most of the art works in this sketchbook are reminiscent of your previous episodes I've watched and loved. I wish I could finish one myself. I have never completed a single sketchbook in my entire life ever. Is it just me? LOL 😂
Thank you so much for taking the time to share and explain. You're so dedicated. I love all your videos and it s given me the urge to get back to drawing. Bless you!
I genuinely adore your art. I love how you make so many styles/mediums look so amazing. I dream of the day when I'm able to do a full sketch book of pages that are finished. Every time I try, I end up messing too many pages up or just not finishing it and moving to a new book. A bad habit I need to break lol. Anyways, fantastic video as usual, love.
you have amazing sketches. and your detailed work is such inspiration. I'm actually gonna get myself a sketchbook after work and practice what I once loved and cherished deeply. I'm glad I found your channel.
i love your videos!Drawing and painting became a hobby and a source of stress relief for me. lately I have been very uninspired but watching your videos bring me out of my rut. Thank you for sharing. love from nyc.
Dear Minnie, I absolutely love your channel! It is one of my favorites. I love all your videos. You are very inspiring. Whenever I watch your videos I get new ideas for sketches and projects. Love your style. I wish you all the best and I look forward to more and more videos from you. You are great! Thanks!
