This is horrific! I went to Trevecca Nazarene College in the 70s and loved Nashville. Then we were a yearly tourist for Opryland and then when they closed Opryland and sold the land to build a mall, I was horrified. Why would they need a mall when there were so many malls? They needed Opryland, so many thousands of jobs that Opryland provided. Plus the thousands of safe enjoyment for families...what happened to Opryland? Totally destroyed Nashville. The economy, the people, everyone was left behind in this decision to sell Opryland. Why can't some investor open another Opryland? Where are the rich investors? I am positive they would make millions of dollars on another Opryland and save lives too.
