I can't help but notice how confident and happy Liam is. He really is growing into an amazing young man and will do amazing things. I'm a parenting therapist and my heart sings every time I watch Stephen and Amanda connect with their beautiful children. You are an inspiration. Agree, they are excellent, well focused role models for many parents. You can see that all the kids are receiving love and good guidance from their parents. Just one point, they always listen and all ths kids can see they are being listened too and receiving good valuable responses. Unfortunately I've seen plenty of parents in my own extended family and in the community who don't listen and don't really make much effort for their kids (and the couple themselves) to regularly (several times every day) show the love, support and encouragement. It shown on the kids; it's easy enough to see on a childs face that child is unhappy, doesn't feel loved. so sad.

half way through this video, I went to the kitchen to get water and saw my mum cooking dinner so I helped her cut up the vegetables. all I'm saying is that this would not have happened if I wasn't inspired by your kids helping out in the kitchen

Agree, kids helping is important for getting meals for amob ready on time and it teaches the kids lots of valuabel life skills. My son, a famous teacher who gives talks about dveloping close families, does all of this well. He's the family cook, he buys fresh food (meats, veg., et.) on the way home from work. Five minutes after he's home his 3 daughters (16, 12, 6) are already waiting/sitting around the kitchen table waiting for their tasks to get vegetables ready, make sauces, set the table, lay out the crockery etc., and get plates bowls, glasses lined up near the cook top for their dad to put the cooked food on the plates, then lined up ready to deliver each plate/bowl to the right place on the table. Meanwhile the eldest is filling the water glasses with chilled water. It's all handled with some level of seriousness to ensure everybody eats well, manners are observed etc., and with an elemt of fun. Good life lessons.

My son has 3 daughters: 16, 11, 6. He's the family cook, he's made and sticks to some family rules, everybody helps to prepare most meals. Son writes on a small whiteboard: 3 carrots, 4 medium potaties, half a cauliflower, today xxx makes the mashed potatoes, etc. The kids know how to interpretall of that into their personal duties. Youngest also sets the basic table, cutlery etc. Meanwhile mum has the washing machine full and she putss the finished laundry out to dry and she starts a dishes wash up. All of this creates good family bonding and a good sense of personal responsibility.

Jude was so patient cutting those almonds!!!! I tried that once and the almonds kept moving and flying off the cutting board. I ended up just putting them all in the magic bullet for a second until they were roughly chopped.

It's great that the kids love to help cook dinner. Green chef really is a good way to learn. Unfortunately we cant get green chef in the UK. Some comments say that you were live. You couldn't of been though as you posted vlog at 8am your time (2pm UK as were 6hrs ahead of you). I really hope Amanda's neck fully heals soon.
