we have an in depth discussion about how one of my favorite shows can actually have real life context and how we can apply it to real life. #Momreactstonaruto #Geezdayday #Momreacts
Without that speech and without Pain naruto would not have become the man he was at the end of the show. Pain played a very big part in shaping naruto into a person who can show compassion to bring people together and end wars that's why Pain is my favorite villain in the series
Wouldnt say he did any of what u said i think its all the battles he went thru that shaped him to who he is now nothing more nothing less yes hes a good villian but i like itachi better
Let her watch episode 455, the episode in which we see why Itachi really killed his whole clan, except his brother, and especially the reaction when itachi is behind his mother and father, and they say they won't have a death match with their son and that they are still proud of him even though he chose a different path.
i tried and she was actually angry with itachi and had little to nothing good to say about him and i didnt want the itachi community to come attacking me for that
She prob didn't see the whole story. Especially the part where danzo basically says die with the rest of your clan or kill them yourself and let your brother survive. You would have to understand the plot a little more to truly understand that episode
From what I remember of Pains goals he planned to use the Tailed Beasts as a nuclear deterrent by turning them into bombs... using them on the world and then just give them away to the different countries... the fear and pain would create a temporary peace... eventually the fear and pain would disappear... the bombs would be used again during war... and peace would reign again... of course only temporarily until they forgot again... Very similar to what we have going on in the real world right now...
Glad im not the only one who caught this parallel to our world, hessentially wanted to use the tailed beast the way we use our nukes so a war can't be started
thats why i love naruto and full metal alchemist because they are way too deep and leave a huge impact. story, morals, characters everything is too awesome
Hold on... did you just do the fire ball jutsu hand signs? Damn! That was so cool! Pain’s speech always gives me goosebumps. That whole arc gave me goosebumps. I love Naruto. 🍥
So what ever you just did just hopped thru the screen and now my house is on fire you will be receiving a bill with damages lol😂😂😂 good shit bro you on point with it!!!
Well it's true that Naruto is a really high spirited and optimistic one but you can't put him in the group of the all naïve characters because like Pain said, they're a lot more alike than what he's ready to admit, he also had a rough childhood being treated like a monster and rejected by his entire village while having no parents so he knows about pain and suffering and he knows that humans are not all good and positive. And that make him even more remarkable for being able to believe in peace even after all he's been through.
Aside from this precise context, the show also can also takes reference on international relation in our world about how the "balance" between the different great powers in the world like the USA, Russia and European union is greatly being influenced by nuclear weaponry held by those country as it is represented in Naruto by the tailed beasts which were held by the most powerful villages and served as political threat. -Where can we find that Naruto's theme remix tho ? :)
im not saying naruto doesnt know pain or hardship im just saying that as a character he is optimistic to a fault. and i like the fact that pain itachi and madara all beat him in talk no jutsu.
what you say definitely makes sense when applied to real life. and i literally just search free naruto themed beats and find free ones to use on youtube i cant find the one i used on this video anymore tho.
@@geezdayday2901 I agree like his Sasuke pursuit was supposed to have a line somewhere, at some stage he was supposed to give him an ultimatum like Hashirama did to Madara. His approach on finding peace lacked practicality and was based on sentimentality in speech
@@geezdayday2901 I like it too, and that is for saying that although he had his share of pain, he is still an teenager and has seen nothing in life compared those characters so there is no way he could beat them with talk no jutsu aka "it's not nice to be a bad guy"
My mother having been the smartest person I knew throughout my entire life and my most influential mentor far more than any individual teacher or schooling, with her psychological illnesses causing her to lose all of that: I gotta admit I'm a bit envious of your relationship with your bright and charming mother who will actually share her time to take an interest in your interests. You two have a great and healthy dynamic and screen presence that is entertaining and uplifting to watch.
Way to go....I'll admit it... I'm in my 40's and I watch anime and I'm glad to see that your mother was able to give a reaction to a very relatable topic.... Some people believe anime is all fantasy and elaborate drawings or just a plain old cartoon however if you REALLY listen and watch you will see there is A TRUE message in some shows.... Not all but most!!! I applaud you and your mother.... GREAT CLIP 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
As much as I like DBZ n Naruto, I would say Naruto my man.. NARUTO wanted to be at top, he became no.1; Goku wanted to be no.1 he became strongest mortal.. but Naruto swept us off with his emotions n made others strong whereas goku grew stronger from everyone's love
geez dayday :(( I’ll watch them :( and damn :( it’d still be really interesting to see your views and perspective or like maybe explanations to these types of ‘philosophical monologues’ even if it’s just you. Love your channel btw 💕 uwu
@@Lulu-xh7qe well thank you very much for the support! i just did a video discussing if end of shippuden naruto and sasuke could beat final valley madara and hashirama. and i do want to do more reactions to the deep monologues for sure i would just have to find them.
Pein, the one life changing Senpai we all (probably) have in our life. One that help shape who you are in the future. Probably one of the most hated villain (except Orochimaru) on Naruto Shippuden until the Naruto vs Pein fight.
Thank you, finally someone who gets it. These countries fight each other all the time and they all get their weapons from huge nations, they literally fund the huge nations (mostly USA tbh) with their money and blood.
@@superjonh1000 it makes me really understand why in a japanese show, there is a blond haired blue eyes kid as the main character, and a whole clan of red heads(uzumaki)
@@superjonh1000 bs..Hidden leaf and other great villages represents the nato and the west in general while the small nations represent the middle east.nagato here represents the consequence of western influence in middle east aka isis and al qaeda.naruto represents the various blind "patriots" like you and legendofsociety7 who believes they are fighting for good..
@@zirkkhah9114 no dude, you got it all wrong. We're agreeing with you, well at least I am. I'm far from being a "patriot". Essentially we're saying the same thing, the western influence is the main cause of most conflicts we have it nowadays on the middle east. All those wars there are pointless and in some way caused by the western gov'nts interfering in their politics. It all started when the UK decided to split the Palestine in half to form Israel in hopes of arabs and jews sharing the same territory peacefully, which of course failed miserably. The US gov'nt also blaming something on one of their nations to proceed and attack them mercilessly in search for oil. Look at the state of Iraq after the US invasion. The Syrian civil war was also funded by them. I remember reading that some NATO weapons were found on dead Syrian soldiers. Naruto did a great job showcasing how smaller nations are literally abused by greater nations.
I think if this small 5 minute clip was somehow played in a G20 meeting if not a UNGA one, it would drastically improve the situation we live in. At the least it will hit the thick skulls of our leaders hard, if nothing more.
Pain is a Utilitarian, achieving a greater good through sacrifice. Totalitarianism and Utilitarianism are good philosophies to look at, especially when realizing pains end game would have lead to a totalitarianist way of living through pain and fear, with him at the top.
@@sowhat249 yeah but this villain especially is very relatable his speech is a testament of a real world is actually to me He made the most sense and He was the only that saw the world most realistically
Of course villains are meant to hover around realism and pessimism while protagonists are meant to be unrealistic. Serial Killers, Terrorists etc have perspective
@@GeneralGreek yeah you is right on Konoha point of view He is a Villain but i agree with you nobody of Rain village is a villain except Hanzo Salamander he was a bad leader
it may be the only thing we can get our moms to react to that's anime related. i actually got the idea from another channel that i mention in the video.
Is Naruto the English version on Hulu because for me part of it was but when it go to sasuke killed itachi and Tobi telling sasuke about itachi then it turned to sub only.
When i saw this speech from pain i compared it to the fire nation being the united states n iraq being the rain nation! You can compare it to our world because this happened in a similar fashion
If you've ever seen code geass, the MC found one of the bests if not the best answer to pain's question "How would YOU confront this hatred in order to obtain peace?"
@@geezdayday2901 well to find out you got to watch the anime all the way until the end. It’s a pretty good answer if I do say so myself. It’s very worth watching code geass and you won’t be disappointed if you like anime with emotional roller coasters and deeper meaning with a bad ass Mc. Sorry for responding sooo late
You must be referring to the iaintasaint channel where the older lady watches the pain cycle of hatred and she was referred to it by comments and has alot more reaction to Naruto which is interesting to see her react to
I subscribed bro, this is something i always wished i could do. My family thinks anime is for kids, they think it’s just nonsense. They won’t take ANY time to even look at anything I’m interested in lol. Next you should show her Pain Vs Jiraiya, especially the talk they had
I’ve never watched Anime a day but in my life but think i will check some out if you have suggestions that’d be great lol. This was super interesting to me!
Definitely watch Naruto. Such a beautiful animated show. Lots of philosophy and life lessons such as this one. Amazing characters who you really get to know, watch grow up, and ultimately get super attached to. And some of the best music to ever grace my ears. Though the show is not without its flaws. Some big ones at that. It’s especially rough in the beginning so if you try it, give it some time :)
I should probably also mentions that it’s around 400 episodes long (20 mins each) ... so it’s quite the journey but in my opinion, absolutely worth it.
You have to remember when Nagato became a ninja he lost someone very close to him, whereas Naruto went from lonely to having friends and family always having his back, supporting him and there for him.
*Pain might be the only person in Anime that speaks to the hero like they look at their selves it relates to reality like how "People hate what they don't understand**
I would said Pain was a lost soul. He was in between good and evil and joined the good side when Naruto gave him Hope. He wasn't pure evil. That's why when he heard Naruto's message later on, he found Hope again. He's similar to Garaa where both were lost but Naruto provided Hope and a better way for Peace. Itachi was also a good guy all along. He did minor wrongful things just to get Sasuke stronger for what pure evil was going to appear to all humanity. They all wanted the same thing (Peace) it's just that Naruto has the better solution and all trusted him and has faith in him. The true enemies are such like Madara Uchiha who can careless and thrives on hate and never wants to change no matter what. Madara seeks power and control over everyone for wrong doings.
@@lo-rezastronaut3714 naw idk about that one. Madara seems more like a true villian to me. He doesn't seem lost at all. Just because he wants peace doesn't mean he's good. He can want peace for the wrong reasons. Or his strategy of bringing peace can be wrong doing. Such as killing off your allies as pawns or manipulating ppl constantly and tricking them. And okay when the world is peaceful, are you sure his intentions isn't for everyone to bow down to him. He seems trickery just like Orichimaru who's also a true villian
Pain shaped naruto into who he was he didn’t speak nun but the truth they both wanted the same thing jiraiya spoke of you both were no different remember what he said we’re both working for our own justice the justice I have meted against konoha is the exactly the same you’re trying to mete out against me everyone feels the pain of loss the same we both know pain you are working for your justice so am I we are just ordinary people driven to revenge in the name of justice but remember this to but if revenge is called justice then that justice breeds yet more revenge and becomes a chain of hatred living within it,Aware of the past predicting the future this is what it means to know history we cannot help but know that people cannot understand each other the world of ninjas is ruled by hatred My boy spoke facts I’ll show u my pain is greater than yours [[PAIN]]
Real world example of this speech, Usa soviet union cold war They battled using many countries for their own interests and left the country in a worse state they were before.
I don't hear their voices, i just hear a music. '-' wtf The voice is only in left side? Because just my right side (of the headphone) is functional. xD
no the best we can hope for is a common inderstanding that we cannot understand each other but respect each other nonetheless. i think thats a close second but the best we can hope for.
I love that I love how you are talk about it I mean this was great you guys should just more of these Naruto and so many other animes have these kind of things in it. Bravo
thank you so much. this video got a surprising amount of hate lol so its refreshing to see that you enjoyed it. if you have any suggestions id be more than happy to hear them.
@@geezdayday2901 no problem bro if there's one thing maybe I can think of you guys watching as a clip would maybe be the story of Al and Ed Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood pretty intense story
Pain described “Sin” perfectly from the Bible. The wrongs we do is because of the sin in us. The wrongs arent sins, theyre the product of the sin nature in humankind. The son came to bring us back to the father. One cannot find God if they do not love their father and all people. We cannot love one and hate the other and the only way to break the cycle is forgiveness and Christ taught that perfectly. “Mom Im sorry for hating you because you spoiled me and I became stuck in my head becoming emotional etc.” “Dad Im sorry for hating you because you didn’t protect me and you werent there for me, I was left alone to fend off the world by myself”. Forgive and God will forgive us.
