I like your cars and videos and all the Acura stuff, but I honestly think your mother is way more interesting and inspirational. She seems to be a fighter, a successful, a hero of a mom. My my, I did NOT see a spotlight coming! You suggested that I say hello in a SHORT segment at the tail end of one of your posts -- I thought! I have to point out your good eye for beautiful scenery and the PERFECT spots from which to film, always. This RLX has been a delightful car, and though the 'beak' is still growing on me, the lines of this car are fantastic. The black paint is tough to keep dust-free, but worth the effort. Is there any color more gorgeous than black on a nice car? I think not. As for the running.... we can truly say that Acura 'runs' in the family. You have your share of medals, too, and our annual January event in Phoenix has become a long-time tradition. Here is to more miles, whether on foot or via four wheels!

Acura RLX, Japanese name, legend, I have also experienced it, but it is a very good car. Black is nice.

WOW! Your mom is a truly hardworking, inspirational woman. I need to take some tips from her. Acura failed to appropriately market this car. Also, I'm not sure if it was distinctive enough from a top-shelf Accord to justify continued production. The company should go back to the drawing board to engineer a true flagship that's cutting edge, innovative, and distinguished enough that it's enticing to customers.

I'm still driving a 2002 Acura RL, which I've owned for the last 11 years. Only 112k miles on it. Previously, I had a 1988 Legend. My next target vehicle will be the RDX,....or an MDX.

Great Car! I own a 2016 Acura RLX P-AWS Adv. and a TLX V6 SH-AWD tech. Both with little over 30K miles on them. I love both, but RLX is another level compared to TLX. I think RLX and TLX are two of the most underrated cars in the market. I didn't know Acura was discontinuing the RLX in 2021 until I read someone's comment here. It's so sad.

Nice video! currently own a 2015 RLX In black as well but mine has black interior got 79,000km on it which is about 49,000 miles just some interesting points that I would like to mention I believe the P-AWS version of the RLX only came in 2014 and 2015 here in Canada I've never seen a newer P-AWS after the 2015 year in Canada we get the same style of rims but the colour shade is different! Also there are fewer RLX in Canada compared to America Cheers from Canada :)

Hello Tyson. I remember reading a couple of years ago that Acura was gonna replace the RLX with what they would call the WLX do you know anything of this? I know that CUVs and SUVs are the it thing now but I hope they replace it with something.

Yep, that AWD doesn't really make sense in Arizona. For someone from a snowy region I think it's kind of a crappy deal the RL went from standard AWD to the RLX with AWS, with optional AWD. AWS just seems gimmicky to me, like an old Prelude.

All the prior Acura’s you had were amazing cars, but I’m not so sure we can say the same about this generation of RL, especially considering the price and the fact the current accord is comparable, if not better, in many areas. What was the rationale behind this RL purchase?
