Anxiety, depression, mental illness, I don't care. She had the ways and means to go about planning a vacation, packing, boarding an airplane, taking selfies, and writing about what a great time she was having. Very few people are self aware enough to admit they don't want a child and follow through with responsibly giving them up. Very few. This woman lacks all self awareness, maturity and responsibility. Not, people who DO give up kids often get judged out the yin yang by the same type of people who yell about doing so in these cases. Add to which, most bad parents don't think they are bad parents.

I am on my third Maltese puppy. I lost my last girl when she had cancer and could not bring myself to get another dog baby for two years as the pain was so bad. Right now this baby Maltese is 4 months old. As I am watching this video, I snuck into the bath to shower. She is sleeping on my bed with her blanket. She has 3 bowls of dog food and a bowl of water. Home made food,, Cesars store food and hard food in case she gets hungry in any way. I came right back lying down with her as she continues to sleep. Only as I write is she about to get up. She was just at the vet for her third set of shots and another does of Revolution for puppy kittens to make sure no worm, insect, flea, tick, mites could harm her. This is how I treat my dogs as most people do. My three children were cared for in the same way with human doctors and protection. My dog has about twenty toys and many teething twists and bones. My children were spoiled with toys. I cannot imagine the suffering of this child and she could have lived with so much less than what I give my dog. I am so sick of seeing this more than well fed woman lie with absolutely no shame. God bless this little baby girl.

With that being said, my mother isn’t a narc but she suffers from depression and that means postpartum depression too. She abandoned my brother when he was 2 and I have borderline personality disorder, which means she likely left me crying in my crib all the time- which F’d up my brain. So depression CAN cause ppl to do some seriously bad sht. With that being said, her lack of remorse does scream narcissism and the way her parents coddle her also screams it (it’s developed when a child is either severely abused or severely spoiled). So I believe it’s a nice little mixture of both. Being that the baby was so young she likely still had severe postpartum and zero empathy from the narcissism. Also- the fact that she thought she was going to go home? Yeah that’s def narc delusion from grandiosity! (Good call on your part)
I'm not gonna say depression exactly does this but I got diagnosed with bipolar and other disorders when I was 26 really kicked in when I stopped drinking and in the last 12 years I have been in around 18 mental hospital over 4 total years been good the last 3 found the right medication
Her attorney actually looked happy or relieved that she was given a life sentence. I saw him interviewed recently and being a father himself, said he and his co-council could not understand how she could have done what she did to her baby.
Her statement that both God and her daughter have forgiven her is EXACTLY why she needs to spend the rest of her life in prison. She is not remorseful at all.

She never cried when they talked about what she did to her daughter. She started crying when her lawyer started talking about how hard she has had it. Because she cares about one person, and one person only...herself. She said she was so sorry. When she was sentenced, she had the nerve to be angry. She was so angry that she didn't even turn around and say goodbye and thank you to her parents who showed up for her. She is not capable of love. She loves only HERSELF!

Not a SINGLE relative was there for the murdered child. Not one. Not a single person who knew her before death there to speak about her. Only the police officers who found her. I have never been so glad to see someone get life without parole.

This reminds me of my mom, she had eschizophrenia. When I was in my 20s I asked her, "what are the voices usually tell you?" She responded, "to K myself and/or K my children" I asked, "so have you ever had the urge to hurts us?" She responded, "No! because you are my children and I would never hurt you" My mother, despite her mental illness, she protected us till her last breath. She didn't have a good life with my dad, nor after my dad. However, at my early 20s I decided to become her care giver, and did it for 25 years of her life, and I tried to make her life a little better.. She never attempted to hurt me, instead she always tried to protect me even as an adult. This here is a bunch of BS! It just simply evil to the core. You could definitely tell, as he was listening to the State's presentation of the final days of the baby. He was trying very hard to not let it affect him, but he, too, was horrified by what she has done.
Absolutely-I appreciate how respectful he was…He didn’t try to justify her behavior in any way, and was appropriately horrified. He was stuttering trying to find something to say to defend her-it seems he knows she’s going down and he’s not going to damage his reputation by doing anymore than the legal minimum to defend her.
She’s done that before too. She asked neighbors to take care of the baby for a weekend and was gone for over a week. I don’t get why she didn’t just do that again

She only cried tears for herself. No sense of remorse. The judge, lawyers and detectives were really shattered over this poor baby's death. The "mother" didn't care at all.
Her parents went on vacation before her & about the father's parents is nothing reported on. She either didn't care to ask the neighbors again or was ashamed to ask them again. Either way she is a vile coward & monster.

I feel the same way. I have been wanting a child ever since I was in my 20s, now I am in my mid- 40s, I can not seem to find the right person to have a child with. Here are these people having a child and children and mistreating them or kill them. She is beyond selfis, she is evil. She want to go on vacation as if she is a single person. Why could she not find a babysitter or a family member to take the child. Of even take the child to a fire or police department and say I cannot take care of the child anymore. As some one says, every child deserve parents, not every parent deserve a child.
Her poor skin with a soiled pamper. Her rolling around in her own feces and urine. Her screams and her cries. Her fear. An adult should never experience this, let alone a baby. My heart aches.

I’m just guessing, but I’m kind of thinking the detective did that as much for his own healing. You know these people that had to work on this case, are TRAUMATIZED for Life. The reason I say this is because of what my Therapist told me to do when I was suffering a crisis.
im 19 years old and i take care of my 2 year old sister. i have been taking care of her since she was born because my mom works all day. i cant bare with the feeling of leaving her alone not even for 2 seconds. i dont even shower sometimes until my mom comes so my sister isnt left unattended. this mom didnt care at all about her baby, i hope she rots in prison for the rest of her life just like she left her baby for 10 days

My mum wore hole filled clothes so we had clothes. My mum went without food so we could eat. My mum suffered with bipolar yet never left us alone once. My mum worked 3 jobs cleaning and at school dinner assistant. My mum was 41 when she had me, 42 when she had my brother and 43 when she had my sister and by her mid 40s had started menopause. My mother was a very special woman and worked together with my dad to give us life and love.

@@tennysonparks2059 The doorbell cam footage shoed the baby screaming in the middle of the night just a day or two before she returned home and made the 911 call. And from what I remember, in the video at some point, they made a point of saying the baby had died quite recently before she returned. (I think I remembered that correctly). But even so, there being doorcam footage of the baby crying AFTER she had reportedly returned to Michigan, means the baby WAS still alive when she was there, and didn't return home.
What an act on that 911 call. She took time to cover evidence and change the deceased baby girl before calling so it wouldn’t look as bad. So all that crying and carrying on was an ACT.

I don't leave my dog home alone more than 4 hours without arranging for someone trustworthy to go in my house and check on her, take her outside for a bathroom break and to make sure she has food and water. She is a dog but she is a living, feeling, being that has the right to be taken care of. The day we brought her home we made the commitment to care for her for her entire life. It's heartbreaking that some children can't get the same level of care. DEPORT her, she doesn't deserve a US prison.
So I get you. But there is a legal reason for it. It makes it so she can't claim she didn't understand 'this or that' in an attempt to overturn the sentence in an appeal.

I also caught that in the 2nd detective interview when they asked her why she didn’t take Jailyn with her. At 26:15 she said in Spanish, it was “rápido, habitual” meaning this was fast and routine.
My maternal Gma (who I wasn't close to) was infamous on leaving her kids alone for days. The only thing that saved her kids was that they took care of each other. It disgusts me and honestly tells u how selfish/evil these "mothers" are.

I would get up 1 hour early just to take her for a run to burn energy until I get back home from work . But my biggest joy is seeing how happy she is to welcome me home 😂😂 ! I live in Central Ohio. When this happened I kept thinking what I was doing when that baby was not far away suffering so horrifically. Was I enjoying myself? Laughing? Having a good meal? That thought is stomach turning. If I knew, I’d have gone to break the door down to save that little one. Monstrous and evil woman.
I was just watching RU-vid and this came up and I had just sat down to dinner when the Autopsy was being talked about.I literally got sick to my stomach and cried big tears boohooing and through my dinner away knowing this baby hadn't got to eat or drink anything but Feces at the end of her life😢😢😢

As a therapist, I've treated lots of women with depression and anxiety. It can be debilitating and lead to poor decision making. This is NOT mental illness. This is a selfish, evil woman who just didn't care about that baby. Women can mask their illnesses pretty well sometimes, but not for a whole week. Also, the abrupt cessation of her meds would not have led to this kind of behavior.
I cannot tell you the amount of anxiety and depression I've went through for 17 years since I've had my son. Started out as PPD but has just continued. It does not manifest in this way at all it manifests in closing yourself off from the world not going out in it
@@Caketime2my depression started the same way. It never went away. I started taking methadone for another issue and it seems to have fixed my depression. Hope you're ok
Thank you for this I thought it screamed post partum still hating all of it and never excusing it or her horrible family who also didn’t come to the baby’s aid but thanks for clarifying that it doesn’t work like that
The first emotion the baby’s mother shows is when her attorney describes HER pain, HER depression, how hard HER life was. She was nodding her head in agreement when the attorney described how hard she had it. Also, her attorney said that she’d been taking her medications in jail and was much better emotionally. Well, feeling much better but still talking about her vacation and not sadness for her baby.
The defense attorney was horrified too. You could tell from his face when he saw the autopsy photos and heard the baby crying when she was alone. That was a haunting video. What defense attorney calls his own client a narcissist? I can only conclude he was horrified as well.

The fact she starts to show emotion when the defensive team starts bringing up her life story, but didn’t move or show any care when they were discussing her daughter’s death is so sickening. Justice for this little girl would be allowing this horrible human to starve to death, no water, and no bathroom locked in a cell. That poor baby did not deserve that family

As a mother of a 15 month old, every ounce of my being is in a state of shock, disbelief and sadness that a mother is capable of doing this to a helpless child especially their own flesh and blood. Humans can’t be that cruel, this is a work of a devil/demon. She’s not mentally sick she’s pure evil!!!!!!!
Omg the grandmother’s speech only made me even more angry. How dare she ask for her daughter to be shown mercy when she didn’t have any mercy for her own child, an infant that she chose to bring into this world, a child forced to eat her own excrement because her mother went on vacation leaving her alone for 11 days! She said it herself, her daughter grew up in a loving home that put family above all else, was educated and knew the difference between right and wrong and therefore she has no excuse because there’s no doctor testifying to any type of mental illness severe enough to explain her selfish and sociopathic actions.
The homicide detectives giving victim impact statements as a voice for baby Jailyn were incredibly touching. They were and will continue to be heavily impacted by this case for the remainder of their careers and lives. My heart goes out to them. ♥️
I truly felt sorry for her. You know this will give her nightmares forever. That poor baby. Was thrown away before she was dead..as if to prove to her she was of no value!
Oh my, listening to her was beyond rough. She said that poor baby had fecal matter caked on her lips and teeth! She probably tried or did eat her own poop. What an extremely horrible death this poor sweet baby suffered.
This monster doesn't look like she missed any meals, unlike her starved to death, terrified 16 month old baby girl who was wailing and screaming in torment! I hope justice prevails in prison!!!
The horror of thirsting and starving to death meant this precious baby got too weak to even 😪 cry at the end. They lay looking terrified in excruciating pain.
Only two to eight fricking years.... Only in Ohio I swear. Anything less than life, which thankfully she got, is an absolute miscarriage of justice. RIP sweet baby girl.
@@pennyp7382listening to Dr Mooney's description of the death was excruciating. I think she was even having a hard time with it. Her voice was shaking. I can't imagine what this poor baby went through. This "mother" is absolutely evil.
@@christiejaye8743he wonders the same thing, i hope he’s ok, he mentioned having depression, i really hope he’s alright, i can see in his body language how hard it was on him and he even said “ there’s no excuse for her “ i can see he went home and cried
