Shooter McGavin just makes the movie. Christopher MacDonald is always hilarious in the bad guy roll.

The coin placed down on the green is a common golf practice, it’s used as a ball marker, so as to keep the green as clear of obstacles as possible, they make dedicated ball markers, but a coin usually suffices

Mr. Larsen was played by the late Richard Kiel, who was best known as the henchman Jaws in two James Bond films, "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Moonraker"

Sandler has some VERY fun movies. The Wedding Singer, Billy Madison, 50 First Dates, Mr Deeds, Click, and others. Worth diving into some others if you can find time (I'd say The Wedding Singer is the best of the bunch).

I do like the "Gold Jacket. Green Jacket. Who gives a shit?" line. But then I like a lot of lines in this movie. Surely this is the best Adam Sandler comedy. Although I will entertain arguments for Billy Madison too.

Shooter McGavin absolutely does not have the character to honor such an agreement with Happy. Therefore, along with his screams of horror, it's not unreasonable to conclude Shooter was brutally beaten to death by the angry crowd at the end, most likely on live national television.
