Mom Yoga is Under Attack 

A huge amount of these "YOGA MOMS", voted for the people doing this to them. And will again. 😮

I am a woman and In 1966-68 I was in high school. My mom worked full time and dad was disabled. They owned our home but were low income in a rural community. I worked for the school in the summer doing odd jobs in the office. I got paid. Also during the school year I worked in the cafeteria collecting the money so I could receive a free lunch. I was thrilled to do it and I learned so much. It was fun. Nobody looked down on those of us who were "lucky" enough to earn our lunch. Now many people and kids are lazy and want a free ride. My future husband worked in cafeteria washing dishes. We are still married.

Thanks Dan ! We were refugees back in 1975. We had to be vetted for 2 months. We had to have a sponsor and can not get government aids for a few years. I am so grateful for America and the generous people of this nation 💕 We now have families and careers and are now given back to the system 👍

I was in grade school in the late 40's and there was federal program to bring milk into school for the pupils. White milk was 5 cents, chocolate was 7 cents. My mom had 4 kids in school and she could not come up with that money every day. So, I volunteered to bring the milk from the cafeteria in the basement up to the third floor. The basket was pretty heavy but I did it so I could get free milk for myself and my sister ( chocolate) it helped establish my work ethic and made me appreciate what I was earning. This was in a Catholic school and the nuns would help the kids with few resources with school supplies and I would go to school on Saturdays to help my teachers decorate the class room and prepare for classes. MOM YOGA FOREVER,!! ❤️🙏🇺🇲

Hi and thank you for this walk and show. I am yoga teacher and gave classes on the beach sand in surveillance sickness time. No way I pay tax or ticket for doing and sharing yoga. I am absolutely not flexible in this case. No fear no forget what they’ve done to us. Yoga once yoga forever. Namaste.

I was born in TX & grew up in NJ with my Mom. When I was in grade school, I worked in the school cafeteria for a "free" lunch. This was circa 1960.

I'm not a yoga person, but think of this: The instructors don't have any overhead when they hold classes outside in a nice park. No building to purchase or for which they have to pay rent...no utilities (just free sunshine and air), etc. The powers-the-be gotta make $$ somehow, IMHO. Crazy....

Teeny tiny people who are power mad just caused all this disturbance. 20 years ago we were going to clean up the cemetery with a team of young children. I can’t even remember what it was. It wasn’t the Cub Scouts but suddenly the head selectman heard about it and said ‘they’re not allowed in the cemetery because they might hurt themselves’. We went to do it anyway - we just did - because he didn’t have policeman in place and tickets in his back pocket and it was such an asinine comment… he thought he could make a rule but we just ignored him. If we let them get away with it. It’ll get worse.

I forget where I heard this, perhaps I heard it on this channel? But several years ago I remember a report where a California resident had gone on vacation and left their car parked in the driveway. When they got home from vacation, they found a ticket on their car. Why? Because their car was dirty. As a reminder, their car was parked legally in their driveway. It just needed a bath! However if this resident wanted to steal under a thousand dollars, there are no consequences for that, but you cant have a dirty car!!

First, thanks for helping those two kids to learn kick ball I bet they still remember you. That is a good and practical exercise. I remember when the first Vietnamese arrived here and settled mostly in East San Jose. I came back and visited the area for the first time in 20 years in 2010. Lots of small business everywhere. Their kids are now engineers, accountants etc and my doctor is Viet. (Still poverty there but you have a lot of people with their own restaurants and other services working and making a living) So they have done well. But the type of help you gave those two kids was one of many steps to help them assimilate.

Dan I worked in the cafeteria for my lunch and in my sophomore year my dad was very ill and told me I was going to a public school! I was devastated! Ended up I worked and paid my own tuition for my junior and senior year!i wanted to graduate with all my friends!

lovely trees there , the same thing here in UK , we have a 2 tier police system now , we have 800 illegal people crossing The English Channel every day and our Homeless are everywhere now , we're putting 100's of 1000's of illegal people flooding the UK every month , free hotels , free homes , free meals , free phones , free clothing and stupid middle class " Do Gooders " helping them , but not helping our Homeless . Mom yoga / Mum yoga ! i think the American and UK Govs are making us pay over and over again for keeping illegal people in our countries . maybe Mom Yoga is another way to help pay for the "new comers" .

Back in the early fifties I went to a rural school no cafeteria, then they built the new school in town and had to take the school bus. Could not afford the cafateria and brought lunch from home, a mason jar with milk from the cows homemade bread sandwich. Kids don't know how good they have it today.
