Yeah. And Peter needs to up his game. He was lucky Gary is in great form cause for a long time they weren't playing any better than the Philippines while Scotland should be the clear favourite. Maybe he needs to switch his darts more often 🤷♂️🤭
@@Haltzo Think its more in Peters head than anything with all the stuff going on in his personal life. But you’re right he needs to up his game but that was there first games of the tournament and Gary especially they only ever get better.
Granted, Ando still throws a good dart. BUT.... whenever he's on the losing end he always finds something to whinge and whine about. He's not a "good sport" when it comes to a defeat. If you don't agree, watch his behaviour IF he is beaten in any singles matches he plays.
@@s.e.wagger3888 Sounds like Garys upset you pal😂 He’s one of the greatest of all time definitely in the top 3 if we’re going on titles won and you feel the need to comment he gets upset when he loses, give it a rest pal😂
Gary is finding some really decent form lately. Last players championship he was going at a really healthy clip too. Peter looks like he’s getting in his own way a bit. Hopefully he can relax enough to shake it off, just enough to back up Gary. If he does? No reason why Scotland can’t take the silverware home. 🏴❤
Canada we’re unrealistically pumped up by many following the recent darts tournament in New York, they have already overachieved making last 16, they should have been on the plane home after round 1 with the rest of the dross.
Some amazing matches in there, the French pairing compliment each other so well and they could be a problem for anybody. Sweden v Canada was a very good game, just never knew who was gonna win but Sweden really raised the level after the break and the Canadians couldnt keep up. The Aussies had a tough one v Croatia and even though they smashed it after the break, Croatia did really well to get back in it but deep down i knew the Aussies would win it. Mad respect to the Phillippines, i think that duo of Ilagan and Perez r so entertaining and they play some really good stuff but no doubt the moment of magic in that match was from Gary with that scintillating 141 with Perez poised on 46 to break back but Gary just shut the door right there and then and almost single handedly defeated the Phillippines. If Peter Wright turns up, this Scottish team will take some stopping.
I knew it from yesterday that it was gonna be a tough match for both with a slight advantage to the defending champions. When Croatia was 7-3 down, I thought they wouldn't go down that easily. Luckily for the Aussies, Heta got rid of 77 like it was the easiest thing to do and preventing what could have been a massive last leg drama with Croatia on the throw. But hey, I'm honestly impressed by my Croats either way, knowing they would have probably been demolished if they got to the Belgians or the Dutches. If the World Cup of darts is going to be on the same format next year, I believe they could play it again.
Snakebite comes up clutch but Gary held it up.. Australia v Croatia was tough to call after the Round Robin but the Oz have fighting spirit.. the Swedes killing it - Nielsen with that menacing stare 13:44 🤣 prefer this format of pairs with no single matches!
Scotland played the percentage shot cause they thought the Philippines couldn’t take out a 160+ plus checkout. And somehow they managed to get away with it.
Would I be right in saying Gary chose not to go for bull to give Wright a shout at double....It was just the look in his face...Monnna Bonny Scotland 🏴🏴
@@TheCreepingSnake89 Nein, Matchplay läuft auch nur auf DAZN. Kann man aber für 9,99€ für einen Monat buchen. Mach ich ab und an und kündige es dann direkt wieder.
@@fourcandles9413 yeah so? We never said he will or wont, we just said we like him coz hes a charachter and hes entertaining. Not everyone has to be a 'top 16 player' to be liked. Theres plenty of players out there that r entertaining and that i like.
Snakebite should consider retiring from darts at this point if he continues to play as poorly as he is right now. He might even lose his tour card and might have to go back to the WDF/BDO system if he were to lose his tour card.
Shit is just me or is Mardle becoming way too annoyingly cynical on comms? I mean what was he even talking about on Matt Campbell’s 110 checkout attempt. He thinks he knows it all.
It’s not a great idea to start on the 19s for a 110. Personally I wouldn’t do it but obviously if u get the treble then no problem coz then u got a single to double but if u love D16 then it’s not a great idea coz it leaves 53. Starting on the 20s leaves u with 50 if u get the T20 then u can set it up on any double u want
@@yusufluhar5881 The trouble with going for 20s on 110 is if you hit unless you hit a T5 you have to stay straight or it’s over. Going 19s means you can miss right and hit a 3 or a 9 and still be good. If you hit a single 19 then it’s an easy switch to 17s. If you hit a single 17 then there’s still a chance to leave D16 with the T14 last dart. If you like D16 more then okay but that first is more of a risk.
@@TLMK15 yes thats a good point actually, so basically theres more room for error when going for the 19s coz if u hit a 3 or 9 then u can still checkout 107 or 101 in 2 darts so thats a fair point.
It's just a routine, you don't want to have to judge if you should give your buddy a bump or not every time, to line up with their expectations. So you just do it every time and focus on your darts.
Australia will have to lift their game if they are to have any chance of beating ANY of the top seeded teams. (Especially Damo. His form is well below par.)
i find these 36 minute highlight videos incredibly difficult to watch.. consider breaking them down into more cohesive and digestible bits that can be searched and rewatched as moments rather than entire days
