@@thealmightysnipper6083kratos literally killed the most greatest gods in the greek pantheon, and even kratos even confirmed that Greek gods are stronger than norse gods.
Imagine this from Atreus’s perspective, like his dad just gets launched out of the roof by a random dude he just met and he has to sit there and just be like “damn thats crazy 😐”
Zeus humped an enemy of olympus twice failed giving sparta any girls in a chance she would marry someone not from Sparta but instead gave two demi god warrior boys and a chance for sparta to have a god in the olympus pantheon, realistically speaking it didn't matter who ares should've grabbed athena and gaia were always plotting a casted out demi god son of zeus to to kill all the gods gaia's part claiming all the lands and seas of greece, athena's part to takeover the olympus and rule all the mankind of greece.
But in the DLC, when Mimir gets replaced with Helios. He reaches for his blade instead of his ax, a fascinating detail how he differentiates from the Greek and Norse gods.
@@hasangaming673He always grabs his Axe and Mimir by his right hand as Mimir is in his right hip and the axe on his right shoulder/back, ofc he could only reach for the blades.
@@HAYDS510 you sus for saying something about pegging when that doesn't have anything to do with it. Plus if you play the original 3 God of war games you would know that he didn't have a beard and was able to pull all of the girls.
Bringing you too tears is crazy. I tbh have little sympathy for kratos ik the gods are ass and that's why kratos is ass. Cus he's a god. The concept of friendship to me feels like something he would throw away at the slightest thing. It's badass to play as with cool fight scene but I really have no emotional sympathy for him
@@Oilupimtherein5 yeah but that isn't exactly attoning for your sins he's just accepted as that was the main point. Seems like you were the one who didn't play the game. I wouldn't trust a person like that lol and considering he hasn't really attoned for anything if something bad happens to him it doesn't bother me. But either way have a good day cheers
cool detail at 0:32 when Odin approaches atreus and points at him, you can see kratos put his hand on the axe. Prepared for if Odin tries to take him and kratos needs to fight. He even does it again at 1:12 when odin grabs atreus's shoulder
I like to think he said “No” to Odín because he doesn’t trust a promise/Deal from a “God” anymore and that just goes to show how much he’s matured throughout the games.
According to the journal entries, Kratos actually was considering Odin's offer, but the deal-breaker was when Odin offered to kill Freya for him, because even though Freya hates him, he still considers her a friend for saving Atreus.
The way kratos tells tyr to basically pull it together is like when kratos told deimos to get it together in ghost of sparta and he was a literal child
My first time playing Ragnarok, I never noticed some of the subtleties on what Kratos does without needing to raise his voice or move violently. Like how often he reaches for his axe when Odin and Thor visited their his home.
It'd be a lot of work and maybe not worth it, but they should release an 'alternate universe' version where Atreus gets killed or something, and Kratos turns back into the 'God Killer' they've heard so much about. Just as a fun return to form for the fans. Not canon, doesn't touch any of the stuff they established, just a good ol' 'What if'
This is a true mod which is what all Sony studios should be doing. they could take all their games to another level with modding other PlayStation first party Characters into their games. Spiderman in the last of us part 2 universe webbing up the infected would be crazy
Man I love listening to Freya and Kratos work through their respective issues by getting mad at each other and then explaining why. You can see the foundation of an eternal bond forming.
I forever will say, Kratos sharing his story with Freya was the most poorly handled scene ever. It deserved its own cutscene and score. Something like was done in the Valhalla dlc The way he says he killed his wife and daughter is delivered like a… like if he’s detached from the situation snd just telling a story Idk, but it feels like it wouldn’t be something he’d casually stalk about Dude gets more emotional over being asked to kill again
Imo kratos is a seasoned stoic who’s very breath is a controlled definition of his rage. He’s had a millennium to deal with those faults he made as a result of being ordered to kill. I think it gives a little light on how much he still thinks about it even though he’s got Faye and Atreus.
@@CobraTateabdTheTalismanEdits again, he gets more emotional over being asked to kill… I don’t think that’s really the case unfortunately. It doesn’t really seem like it’s bothered him that much Especially when you hear how he talks about his daughters song after you find her flute… This part seems almost like a “damn we gotta put this somewhere so might as well be here” and it’s rushed They very much made up with the dlc so I am extremely curious as to why they handled Kratos telling his story so he can begin to get freya to trust him, with all of the emotional turmoil built up between them already…. Idk man they really dropped the ball and should’ve done more. There was so much set up and… they did that
@@CobraTateabdTheTalismanEdits think back to when Kratos admits to Atreus he has killed many many people and even innocents… it was awkward but they gave it its own time and the reveal, while spartan in delivery, still felt like it had weight to it… this did not
@@DS-wl5pkof course he gets more emotional over being asked to kill; being someone’s monster is what led to the death of his original wife and daughter to begin with. Also, iirc, vengeance is supposed to leave you feeling empty after you achieve it. It has been years since the end of GOW 3 at that point.
The Norse saga should have been 3 games. Erik Williams is a shit director and he fucked up the Norse saga. However I think he still set up the gist of what Cory Barlog wanted kratos character to be and become Cory still help Erik through most of it but he just gave Erik a guideline. So now hopefully for the next game they let Cory be full time director and pay him millions. Cory is god of war I don’t care what anyone says god of war and kratoss character are all him. It’s his work and the original creator of kratos doesn’t know shit. If Cory becomes full time director of god of war then I am so excited for the future of god of war. However if they keep the tradition of switching directors ever game or so then god of war will fall off and lose sight of what kratos is and what god of war is. I really pray Cory becomes full time director
To be fair, greek kratos was over 2.30 meters tall, he would be even taller than Thor. His height combined with his look and temper and the way he talked was just legendary
