Sure does!! If the population had just a fraction of her demeanour the world would be a much better place!! I feel she’s very poorly treated, she takes it like a boss!
When y’all become famous, and you will, please don’t ever ever ever change. Stay exactly who you are. The world needs more people like Mama in the world! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
They're famous! We're all 200k are watching them from all over the world. And also, you all always use this "Don't change" as if they shouldn't evolve to produce better content. Who wouldn't want see her journey from a bad home cook to a better home cook?
@spankbuda3769 I think they just do that not a good cook or choice of foods for the content! There is no way she really be making food like that, specifically on holidays, ant .o way!!!
@@ameliaholland3645 You won't be sorry. I didn't have sour cream, so I substituted Greek yogurt. Amazing. You could put cinnamon in it if you wanted, and it would be a wonderful coffee cake. Or fruit and cream, this cake can become anything. It's so good. 😋
@@mariek8578 yes it a viral tik tok butter cake Mama said it at the beginning of the clip. So she got the recipe from the tik tok. She even watches the clip too make the glaze in this actually video.
@@shenglongisback4688 😉Thank you for responding!! I don't do tic toc so I was wondering if it was on a website or anywhere else. I'd like to try this recipe, it looks so good!👍🏻
You have to mix the wets with the wets otherwise it doesn't mix up right if you do it all in one bowl. And if you beat your cake mix too much it comes out tough...so mixing the stuff that needs to be mixed MOST keeps you from overworking your flour and ending up with a tough cake.
Great comment...I also wonder about the butter used. If she didn't use real butter, or if she used salted butter, that would explain the questionable reviews.😖
I first saw you on Tiktok. And I must admit it's a whole different vibe and atmosphere. I love watching you cook up here on RU-vid so much better. I can actually feel the energy and love you put into the cooking. You're doing your own thing. And that's alright.❤
That child is a natural; kudos mama for encouraging him to describe his experience sample tasting. Those a children that grow up WANTING to share activities with elders ❤
Lil man said "it starts gettin good"😂😂.. after salty bite. ❤ awesome 8 out of 10 not bad butter cake Momma and with ice cream too!!!!! Love seeing you and your family cooking tasting doing your thing Momma❤ Cant wait see yall next video.
1:00 when baking, you mix the dry with dry and wet with wet ingredients before mixing them together to evenly distribute everything without over mixing
When u mix the butter eggs and all the wet ingredients first you "cream" the sugar into the butter and that is an actual chemistry change in the ingredients that must happen in order for it to turn out right and bake properly. Love ya momma and J❤
lol.. I don’t know what I’m doing either girl we gonna screw this up together but vanilla ice cream and sprinkles..YES YES!! 😆🤷🏼♀️ Grandbaby is so dang cute I give it a 8 out of 10 plus he had to get 3 more bites to test it!! AWWW 🩷 😆
WOW Loving it Looking like a billion dollars very beautiful and gorgeous God bless you and hope you have a great wonderful BLESSED DAY guys 🤗 ur big fan all the way outta Albuquerque New Mexico.
Josh you need to remodel mamas kitchen for Christmas. She deserves it. Its doable. Just do it. Dont tell her, let it be a surprise. Your mama is a jewel. Much love
I have an easy recipe for chicken enchiladas that I just made up one day, you should try it. -You need one Walmart (or wherever you can buy one) rotisserie chicken, any flavor works but I usually go with original flavor. -1 16oz tub sour cream -1 8oz block of pepper jack cheese -1 10oz Cacique Ranchero Fresh Queso Fresco Cheese (can be another brand but I like this best, if you can't find this brand just look for queso fresco cheese, its literally just fresh cheese, it's crumbly like feta, but not as salty) -1 jar of HERDEZ, Cilantro Lime Salsa Cremosa, (Mexican Sauce) 15.3 oz Jar (if you can't find that brand, try looking for a cilantro lime marinade/dressing, or you can substitute with guacamole salsa, or a salsa Verde, but cilantro lime is the best) -1 pack Guerrero Corn Tortillas, 16 oz, 18 Count (they are a little small, but do not by the street taco size that's the smallest. and the brand matters, dont get the Walmart brand lol, find something that looks obviously Spanish, if all else fails buy mission brand but it has to be white corn and you'll need at least 12) Take all the meat off the bones of the rotisserie chicken and put aside in a mixing bowl. Don't put the skin in, just eat that or give it to your dogs 😂 In a separate bowl mix together the tub of sour cream and the cilantro lime sauce (or marinade/dressing, or guacamole salsa, or salsa Verde, whichever you went with) and stir it until there are no lumps of sour cream Put about 1/4 of the sauce in the shredded chicken and stir until it's all well coated and looking like a chicken salad😂 Shred the whole block of pepper jack cheese, set aside crumble up the queso fresco (you can use about half the queso fresco if you don't like a lot of cheese), set aside Heat up your whole stack of corn tortillas in the microwave for about 20-30seconds with a wet paper towel laid on top to steam it so they don't crumble up when you're filling them. Take a couple spoonfuls of the sauce and put in the bottom of a casserole pan, spread it out just as a base layer to hold the filled tortillas in place as you fill up your dish. Take each tortilla and fill with chicken and pepper jack cheese (about half and half, you can even mix the pepper jack straight into the chicken mixture to save time, setting just a few spoonfuls of the cheese aside to sprinkle on top), putting them into your casserole dish in neat rows, if you have to squish them together to make them all fit that's alright. When you run out of tortillas and chicken and cheese, or fill up your casserole pan, whichever comes first😂 take the rest of the sauce and pour it over the top. Then sprinkle the rest of your pepper jack cheese and the crumbled queso fresco on top evenly. Put in the over at 350 for about 20-30 minutes until the sauce is a little bubbly around the sides and the cheese has melted well. Serve hot with some jalapenos or some extra salsa Verde for spice. I would really love if you guys would try out one of the recipes I've commented on y'all's videos, I'm from a house with a Momma who cooks simple and cheap meals too, so I know the struggle meals in and out and as soon as I was old enough to start cooking on my own I started experimenting with new recipes trying to figure out what's easy and tasty from what we had in my dad's pantry 😂
❤Baby, don't ride other peoples skirt tails when you are a magnificent dress, all on your own!!!❤ 🎉I DID make your recipe and, as a caterer and a chef, it was AWESOME🎉 NOW...beg n borrow equipment from your friends and family. 😊START YOUR OWN YOU TUBE CHANNEL😊 Like, NOW!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Also Momma watching Mama Tot and somehow not knowing that she is JUST as beautiful, wonderful, loving and PRECIOUS as Mama Tot is!! If not even more so!!
😂😂😂😂😂 at least she cooked this right lol. Tell her go look at the cake boxes in the supermarket. They have butter cake! I can’t believe she never heard of that. What bout buttercream? She knows what that is?
I think Josh’s momma is on point when it comes to life. She definitely grasps to thine own self be true and that love is all that there is. She’s not moaning & growing? This channel sure did back fire too!!! It was all about making fun of momma, somethings may be eccentric but those that love this woman; truly love her! I sure do!
My mommas favorite cake was a butter cake. I'd bring her one home from the bakery and she would not share with any of us kids. I didn't mind bc I didn't care for it. Our butter cake up north is a bit different than the one Momma made. I would eat.the one Momma made. 😊❤
Good going momma! Nice to see you trying new recipes! 🎉 Cooking and baking from scratch is so much fun… you are now on your way to becoming a chemist in the kitchen! 😊 Maybe he tasted salt because the butter is salted? Often baked goods call for unsalted butter. I’d think a butter cake would. Check n see your butter package. It does look great though… I think I’ll make one too ❤
Her enthusiasm is adorable! So glad i found this channel, got to be one of the funniest yet endearing ones out there. She's so cute, with a wild accent, but so hopeless in the kitchen that it hurts to watch, and wouldn't change a thing! Thankyou josh & momma !
You make me feel better about cooking and the food I eat!! I love ham spread and shit on a shingle and people just don’t seem to understand the comfort of these depression era meals ❤️
I love this video! Yesssssss honey we need more of these! Love the hubby even took one for the team ❤. It warms my heart to see your family dynamic. You can tell it’s so loving.
I’m so glad I found Josh’s Momma. It’s refreshing to see a cooking channel where the food is cooked in a unexpected way. Gotta love Josh’s Momma y’all 🥰❤
Oh! The reason you don't mix everything together in one bowl- Basic baking laws that I've noticed are 1. There is a dry ingredient bowl 2. There is a wet ingredient bowl. 3.Baking soda gets gently mixed in with last scoop of flour in the dry bowl. 4. Wet ingredients are easier to evenly incorporate if they're already mixed before going into dry bowl (so you don't have like chunks of butter or sugar or egg) That is only my understanding of it, I am not a professional lol😂❤ hope it helps
However, this is not what you see in a regular basis on the net. Everything is thrown out in a bowl, then mixed. And it hurts a bit. 😭 At the same time, not so long ago ingredients were mixed with hands only. 🤔... I like the old way better. 😭
You might be onto something -for Momma to learn to cook by baking. I started by baking cookies - peanut butter, then chocolate chips then cakes. I have to admit, the cake looked good. Good job Momma.
Momma! You did amazing!! You have a delicious dessert that people are going to want you to make on holidays! Thank you, Mama Tot. I'll be trying this recipe too. Momma, I'm giving you a huge round of applause, you just can't see it from where you are!!
