Thank you 😊 it’s been quite the process. I think my surgeon did great work but at first I was so scared bc the incisions looked so big and gnarled. It was hard for me to imagine how they would heal
Hello! I am almost 3 weeks post Tummy Tuck and I so appreciated your videos! I watched all of them before my surgery, and I am watching again as I find it reassuring to see your recovery and how similar it is to mine :) I am a few years older than you (49) with similar body shape, so seeing how amazing you look and feel is so inspiring!
Yay girl! Congratulations on your body transformation and I’m happy to hear that this series was helpful by providing insight and helping you feel like it’s all normal and it takes some time. 😘😘😘
Sharing your journey will be so helpful for others. You’re so generous with your experience as to knowing what to expect. Hugs and so happy for you, Kim ! Gorgeous ❤!!
Thank you Rita. It’s how I like to journal 😂 and I love when I see a comment that shared how helpful something was. That is what fills me and where I find a lot of purpose 😘😘😘
Thank you Kim. Love you! Looking fabulous. I can relate to not being able to stand straight after. That frustrated me to no end! Keep it up my friend❤️🥰
Wow, Kim! This is so informative! Thank you so much for putting yourself out there to help us. 🙏💗 Heading to your play list!! I don’t want to miss a thing!!
Thanks so much for sharing your journey. I actually just had my surgery done by Doctor Green as well! I just got into my compression garment yesterday and unfortunately I’m not loving it. I feel like the top of it digs into my breast incision and rib cage. It’s very uncomfortable to sit in and sleep in. Hoping it will get better
I completely understand. I should have clarified and in previous videos I believe I spoke to this aspect. Yes absolutely initially it’s not comfortable and mine dig into my sides too. In fact bc I’m only 5’2” the merena compression came up into my breast lift incision so this was challenging in the beggingjng. For me it felt great for my legs and primarily my abdomen. The breasts were mostly in their loose bra. So after a week I became to love it but initially it was hard to work with.
Thanks so much for the clarification! It definitely makes me feel like I’m not alone. I’m the same height as well, so I didn’t clasp the very top. It does seem like it’s getting easier to wear as the days pass. Thanks so much again!
Thank you sooooo much for sharing your journey. As someone going thru this process, I find it super helpful! It is super helpful for me to know some of the possibilities and some of the things to know.❤
I love that we are the same height. I'm day 13 post from my tummy tuck. I'm considering lipo on my thighs and breast lift next year. My surgeon no longer does multiple procedures. I'm also 56, so that might be part of it. I gained ten pounds in surgery day. Don't yet know how much was taken off during surgery. Have not lost any of the weight yet. Can't wait
I didnt get down to below my ingoing surgery weight intil around day 21, i didnt swell much but I of course am human and filled with fluid. It took a few weeks to see the inflammation fully fade. You are really thru the worst part after day 11 I started to feel like a person again:) but be careful this is also when I overdid it bc I'm addicted to productivity. Just give yourself as much time as long as you are walking a lot still. Walking really helped me xoxo
You are so welcome! I'm happy to create these and share the nitty gritty. Being real is my favorite part of creating content, and when thats helpful to others its such a win for me xoxo
How long before you could wear jeans or anything with a waistband? I'm now exactly 4 weeks post op. I can finally get the jeans on and zipped, but I can't even fathom walking anywhere with them on or even sitting. Im going on a trip this weekend and had to actually buy yoga pants to have something to wear. Your videos have been the most helpful for me.
Thank you so much and congratulations on your surgery! It’s such a courageous leap. I think in my videos on day 11 I wear jeans and go on a date with Jason to a steak house 😘
Sending love ❤ very happy for you it,s healing well, you very courageous woman, love to see you are happy with the result, can wait to see your next journey, xx ❤
You look so good! Did your Dr mention he might have to do a vertical scar if there wasn't enough skin? It doesn't look like you had to have that and your belly button looks great! He's amazing...Congrats
He never said he would need to do that. In fact I feel like if he did I don’t know if I would have done it. It seems right at the center of where the incision is pulling the skin down, that I might see the top of my original belly button skin pulled tight to make the closure but I can barely tell and it’s part of the scar
@@SpaandTellaaahhhh. That’s so interesting. Once they told me that I might have to have a vertical scar I’m rethinking. But now I see the vertical scars everywhere. (Some look photoshopped out too) just gotta find the right Dr. thanks for the response. ❤
I know I edited it and YT’s editor takes a few hours to process and update. Can you edit your comment to not time stamp it, I know you only did this to help me but I don’t want to draw attention to it for those with hurtful agendas. Thank you so much 😘
You’re 41? Wow! My skin in my 40’s was horrible from sun worship! And I had no skincare routine! I slept in makeup! My oldest daughter is your age and I thought you were my youngest daughters age or younger (33)! I knew you looked younger than you were but HOLY COW!
If you go back to the beginning of this series I believe I shared about this. I used the tape primarily first 12 weeks and then some gel for the next month or so but it was inconsistent
I'm 21/2 weeks out. I am only 5feet tall. The faja my Dr gave me is so long it folds overundermy breasts and is killing me. I know you are petite, so I figured maybe you may have a recommendation on a more fit friendly.
The internal suturing, yes. If you go to my full playlist on my surgery I actually have the in OR footage and you can watch him suture me inside if that’s of interest 😂
crazy. im a guy and this was actually interesting (and i mean that in a non-fap way xd. was educational). would have bet (when seeing the early pictures) that this wouldnt heal up anymore and bee MUCH more visible later on. looks pretty decent now, really didnt expect that. also prob.- the first time im not turned off by the breast implants. i usually tell everyone to NOT do it if they happen to ask, since 99% (you the 1%) of cases i have seen they just looked like annatural disgusting cancerballs afterwards while they were perfectly fine ( just small) before. its smart you went for a small implant and didnt go full bimbo, it just looks better with the small ones! i wonder if you being happy +- the diet increased your health as well since your overall skin looks much healthier than on the old pictures. i would be interested how much money all the operations + the food-lifestyle costs you as a whole family per year. looks like i could buy a house from that :D
thank you for all of your compliments, glad i didnt turn you on, lol I completely agree that woman go too big, one reason is because its cheaper to fill up skin rather than do the lift to remove excess and tighten. The surgery is much easier on doctors as well. If i had gone in without knowing exactly what was right for me and the look I was after, he probably would have suggested 300cc which would have filled me up and made me look fat on top. People never think about button down shirts when getting implants, but who wants to have pulled stretched buttons. Also having them smaller is less weight on them meaning less sag in the future. My husband was a little unsure on why i wanted so small, but now hes so happy, he thinks they are the perfect size and that anything i wear now fits perfect. This video is part of a whole series of videos starting with my prep where i share the cost break out, but basically it was around $35K now I can't remember exactly without going back to the video, but in that range.
