Momo is significantly superior among junk foods if not fried and I'll explain why. If you're eating a veg momo then you're basically eating steamed dumplings which has vegetables inside and vegetables are good source of vitamins, essential nutrients and fiber and if it's non-vegetarian momo then you're eating literally meat which is a good source of protein provided the shell of momo is not greater than 10-15% of momo and it shouldn't be fried. Call it momo, Jiaozi , gyoza or whatever, but it's a staple diet in many East asian countries and obviously it is for a reason because it's healthy. Now if you're gonna eat something in excess then obviously it's gonna have some adverse effect just like everything else but if eaten in regulated manner then it's definitely not a junk food that we think of it.
