I remember sneaking to listen when my parents had friends over and they would play these records! This was considered to racy for kids to listen to. Moms would be Shook at what comedy is now.

Geez, what a step back into my childhood. Loved this funny lady and remembering a time when we all watched TV together ~ the whole family. I did grow up at the right time and in the right generation.
It is Incredibly important to have forerunners and Ms.Jackie Mom's Mably has held the World in the palm of her hand but she could not control death none of us can.
Garry Wright And she was naturally sweet as pie💖 Thanks Moms for making me laugh while I was hiding under the table when the adults listened to your records.
My goodness... I consider myself lucky to have been born in the era of Pryor, Williams, Moms, Carson and his relationship with comedians, Rickles, Dangerfield, Wanda, Hicks, and even Cosby in his earlier years. And Steve Martin. Shoot, probably forgetting someone but they just don't seem to be as funny these days as the pioneers were, E. Murphy too. I guess we all think our times were the best. I be 65 this week.
Well Happy Birthday to ya and a Happy New Year, too! :) You named some greats of comics for sure. I wish I had vinyl from today's comic geniusesssss. I enjoy them all. :) Thank you for commenting!
LMAO... I love and miss old Mom's she was so MESSY... Lord have mercy there's a reason why they gave that concert there and that's because they probably cuffed arrested her ass to the largest cell after this one....
Brandy Broadus Most all comedians did gigs at prisons. Entertainers made it a point to do shows at Prisons. Today you find them more likely to be doing time there than performing.
