I grew up on 'Moms' in the 60s listening to my parents Albums. Still funny after all these years..I adored her. The good old days of segragation, and race music when it comes to the arts.
My late grandma turned me onto Moms as she had one of her comedy albums in her collections along with some early Bill Cosby and I think a Steve Allen record as well. Moms was really funny and I was able to memorize her jokes and share them with friends at school because no bad words. She helped me make a lot of new friends.
I was about 8 or 9 when moms Mabely passed . I would put her records on when I was very depressed & sad . This women would bring my spirits up & I will always have a place in my heart for MS MOMS ...
I jus so happen 2 b up n da middle of the night..and Amazing Grace cam on..n I wuz like wtf is this..ready 2 change da channel..mom's Manley started talking..and I instantly fell n love wit her..WHERE HAVE DIS LADY BEEN..RIP MOMS MABLEY😘😘
This is just like listening to a funny old relative . It's classic stuff but if you know enough seniors you will run across somebody sort of like her if they let themselves have fun with thoughts and express themselves.
