I love her character so much. Andor did her such justice. Before the series she was just another idealistic character nobody payed attention to. After Andor she is one of my most respected characters

Love Mon went from a random character to basically the new Padme.

I’m so glad we’ve been getting to explore Mon Mothma’s character in the live action shows (Andor, mainly, but also The Mandalorian & Ahsoka). For a person so important to the history of Star Wars, we knew so little for so long. Genevieve O’Reilly does such an excellent job portraying Mon at the different stages of her story, building upon the base of Caroline Blakiston’s work in the last of the original films.

Love how she was the only know prequel senator to stay in power. Wonder what happened to her by the time of the sequels

I love how half of this video is filled with Mon Mothma scenes in Andor. Truly a justification of why this random Senator is the most important person in the Rebellion, because now we know she's the one who funded it. For all of this time (until Andor), we know the importance of Padmé because of her connection with Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker. Also Bail Organa as the one who raised Leia Organa and a royalty figure. Mon Mothma deserves all the peace she needs after went through all of the struggles from losing the democracy to bringing it back.

Ok I understand she’s an alien and all that but she looks exactly the same before Leia was born and long after leia reached adulthood. Anti-aging technology in chandrilan is really a thing of wonder!

I like Caroline Blakiston who played in EP6. Her short lines are full of kindness, and I think she does a great job playing the role of a dignified leader. I was shocked when I saw Admiral Ackbar for the first time, but Caroline Blakiston's presence is also amazing. Currently 91 years old!

A shame most of her Clone Wars time was just being there as a random background character model

Think about what that woman went through and saw... the death of the Republic and rise of the Empire and then it's fall as well, the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War and Rebellion, the loss of Padme, the loss of Bail, the loss of the Jedi Order and then it's re emergence. One of the things I like lease about the Sequels is how it throws away the sacrifice of Anakin but when I think about it also throws away the sacrifice of Padme, Bail, Yoda, Obi Wan and of course Mon Mothma. It makes everything from TPM to the Mandoverse seem so utterly pointless and futile. That may be how real life works but it's not what I want in space fantasy entertainment.
