Ride onboard and see how quickly the Redbull X1 can complete a lap of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit (spoiler, its insanely quick). Unfortunately the car doesn't have enough steering lock to negotiate the hairpin without tagging the wall on exit, but apart from that this car is an absolute weapon around here. No matter how fast your car is, you still downshift to gear 1 and brake hard at the hairpin

Yeah that is because car is too long and wide for the corner. In a pod, you could take the corner normally with trail braking and gradual throttle

hairpin is still a 1st gear 50 km/h turn, no matter how fast your car is

The only way to make it around is drop the clutch and kick the back end out, the car is definetly not suited to hairpins

It becomes alot more to do with reaction time over regular driving, although you'd be surprised, after driving this car for a while now, it's starting to feel more and more "normal".

Update: Just did *39.498* with no barrier contact. (Was still the first session). 38.xxx can be done within a reasonable timeframe.

After seeing mitsos get 44 seconds, I've spent some time on this one, as when I did this originally I didn't have a setup for the car. Somehow managed a few sub 41 second laps, but feel like I need a sub 40 second to make it worth another upload. Setup is such an important part of getting the lap time for Monaco I think

@@jakubkrcma don't remember tbh, but the time is definitely there to be had, its just a case of putting together a perfect lap. I've seen a couple of your videos, I'm pretty sure you'll get a sub 40 second lap before I do, looking forward to seeing that!
