Great panel podcast, guys... In addition to the reasons you've listed, the in-canon connection to the events of the MonsterVerse films, were brilliantly handled. They weren't told in exposition dumps of dialogue. In adding these facts, the showrunners, directors and writers chose to show them visually and they did it subtle ways to boot. Was that a Monarch logo (implying collaboration with AET on their animal experiments) we saw on their monitor when May was at their offices? Yes, it was! That's what happens when you carefully prepare and you actually work to a plan... This was my kind of MonsterVerse. Hats off to Chris Black, Matt Fraction, the cast and crew! Hopefully, after "GxK: TNE" opens ('cos right now, that's what Legendary's concentrating their promo energy on), Apple will decide to green light season two...

The atlantins had a understanding with GODZILLA! And GAMERA! MORTHA! Those 3 are the protecters of earth! From evil aliens or earth based treats! THE SHOW WAS GREAT!
