I'd like to plant them somewhat close to a road and it isn't too busy of a road, but I'm just concerned about when the salt trucks come by in the winter. Would they be okay?
hi, one of the bee balms I planted I noticed the leaves look yellowish. this is not happening with the others I planted. is a case of overwatering, maybe?
You might be right that your Bee Balm is turning yellow from over watering, yellowing in the leaves is a symptom of water stress. It could also be that your plant has been over fertilized which can cause yellowing as well, this might explain why it is not acting like your other plants. Most likely your plant will be fine if you continue to treat it like the other Bee Balms planted near it.
