In this episode of Monday’s with Goober, I take the E39 out on a quick cruise in search for a car meet. We end up going to a local Walmart meet but ended up getting there too late. Still got to meet some pretty cool people! Enjoy the sounds of my full 3” stainless steel m62b44 no cats no resonators no mufflers all out RAW exhaust!

is this car tuned for those gunshots you do when you rev it in neutral? wot box? anything of that sort to make it pop

It’s the Wot Box, basically a launch control set up that has No Lift Shift, 2 step, ETC

So if I have the clutch pressed down and Gas pedal to the floor my 2 step/launch control activates

What I do in order to just make the single loud bang is trick the launch control by stepping on the gas and then quickly closing the throttle before my launch control activates at 4,500rpms

Can’t imagine how this would sound with my 22RPD tuned M62tu. Im just scared to cut into the harness. And how’d you run duals? Cut out spare tire well or go around it?

I cut a small piece of the wheel well out, didn’t really have to chop the whole thing up so it’s possible to do and still keep your wheel well

You just have to make sure you patch it up properly so you won’t get now fumes smell inside the cabin

Should I buy a cheap like a 2 grand 540? Or I would have to invest more than it s worth ?

I’ll full send it on a cheaper one, to me it is smarter to spend 2k on a car and have 2k to invest into the car. I got mine for $2800 it was a super steal but definitely worth it and the first 540 I ever had I bought it for $2000 however it did have 190k and I never use to do any maintenance to that car so it blew up to smithereens 🤣
