Our agency of 40 uses Asana extensively. In my experience, I would take everything you said in this video and invert it, i.e. Asana is far more simple to use and better suited for smaller teams and Monday is better suited to larger teams and more complex projects. To me, Asana is like the iPhone. Monday has way more customisations and tools.
I guess It depends on the implementation and what you’re used to. I do agree that Monday has more customizations and tools but the company I was at had a hard time with Asana 🤷♂️ where I’ve seen Monday picked up very easily due to their on boarding resources.
@@bizbud Maybe you were on an older version of Monday? When we first tried Monday a couple of years ago it was quite simple, but these days it's extremely complex with far more features and options in the UI. I just couldn't imagine characterising it the other way round, sorry.
I have absolutely the same opinion as you. Asana is supersimple so unless you get extremely creative with it, it can work easily as a todo list. With monday, you have to set everything up from the get go and every board suddenly gets slightly different, so when someone come to it, they get confused what is even happening. It's cumbersome and I find me and many other people in a team just not going to monday at all so they don't need to hassle with the interface.
Hi! I’m a newbie digital marketer. I focus on the kitchen and bath remodel niche. I’m looking for a CRM that will help these business owners to be more organized, save a lot of waisted time, and get their projects done faster. Is Monday good for this??? Also, can I create accounts for the different business owners? Or does each business owner need to purchase Monday on their own???
I have to echo that Monday and Asana see, to have switched places - Asana is waaaaay simpler than Monday from everything I've seen. Monday has so much customization, integrations, automations, etc. that it's a blank slate whereas Asana is pretty simple to use out of the box. I wonder if Monday has just changed a lot since you made this video? I'd agree that Monday feels like an Android and Asana feels like an iphone, both the good and bad
Hello, I am a project manager who works in a company, which tool works best for me if I am only going to use it to keep track of the tasks I have to do, which would be the best free plan
What about if you do a lot of different projects. You have a full-time job and a freelance. You don't have people to manage, but want a workflow for each project you are working on. Would you recommend Monday or Asana?
